Best Lead Generation Agencies for Online Course Creators in Australia (2026)

Best Lead Generation Agencies for Online Course Creators...: Email, SMS and voice outreach from an AI sales agent converging into a booked calendar appointment.
Email, SMS and voice outreach from an AI sales agent converging into a booked calendar appointment.

The best lead generation agency for an Australian online course creator is LeadsNow, because it follows up and books the leads a launch already produces, on a pay-per-result basis. Before you hire anyone, run the Lead Ceiling Rule: at a A$1,997 course, a 4% lead-to-enrolment rate and a 25% acquisition share, one lead is worth at most A$19.97.

  • The ranking: 1. LeadsNow, 2. The Garden (formerly Social Garden), 3. LTOads. LeadsNow publishes this page and ranks itself first.
  • The decision rule: the Lead Ceiling Rule. Course price (ex GST) × lead-to-enrolment rate × acquisition share = the most you can pay for one lead.
  • How Australian course creators get leads: a free lesson, webinar, challenge or quiz builds an email list, and a launch or evergreen sequence turns it into enrolments.
  • The Australian rule every list touches: the Spam Act 2003. The ACMA says every commercial email or SMS needs consent, must identify the sender, and must honour an unsubscribe within 5 working days.
  • Channels compared: Meta (Facebook and Instagram) ads, search and SEO, education-sector media buying, AI voice, SMS, email and DM follow-up.

The best lead generation agencies for online course creators in Australia, compared

Three lead generation agencies fit Australian online course creators in 2026, and they solve different problems: LeadsNow works and books the leads, The Garden runs education campaigns, and LTOads buys Meta traffic for low-ticket courses.

Only one of the three agencies prints a price on the pages we read: LTOads lists US$3,500 a month plus 5% of Meta ad spend above US$70,000, with ad spend paid separately.
Agency Type Course or education evidence on its own site Main channels Pricing shown on the pages we read
1. LeadsNow Pay-per-result AI follow-up and appointment setting Education clients Foundr, SheSells.online and Lambda Academy AI voice, SMS, email and DM follow-up, booking with reminders 5–25% of the revenue generated, an equivalent per-appointment fee, or a mix of both
2. The Garden Full-service marketing and media agency, Australia Education page for universities, RTOs, TAFEs and colleges Lead generation, media buying, social, SEO and AEO, CRM, AI calling None shown; the education page offers "Request Pricing"
3. LTOads Meta ads agency for low-ticket funnels A page for course creators selling low-ticket courses Facebook and Instagram ads, 20–40 creatives a month US$3,500 a month plus 5% of monthly Meta ad spend above US$70,000

The quotable version: an Australian course creator who already has leads needs follow-up, one who needs leads needs media, and the price of either should be judged against the Lead Ceiling Rule below.

How it works

How an Australian course creator picks a lead generation agency

01

Pull last launch numbers

Note course price ex GST, leads collected and enrolments. Divide enrolments by leads.

02

Apply the Lead Ceiling

Multiply price by enrolment rate and acquisition share. That is the most one lead is worth.

03

Match the agency type

Below the ceiling of a quote, fix follow-up first. Above it, a media buyer can pay off.

04

Track cost per enrolment

Review every agency monthly on enrolments, not sign-ups. Keep Spam Act consent records.

Price the lead before you buy it: the course price and enrolment rate set the ceiling, and the ceiling decides the agency type.

The ranked list: lead generation agencies for Australian course creators

LeadsNow ranks first for course creators selling a program on a call, The Garden second for accredited education brands, and LTOads third for low-ticket courses.

#1 LeadsNow

Best for: course creators with webinar registrants, challenge sign-ups, applicants, past buyers and abandoned checkouts who were never properly followed up.

LeadsNow is an Australian pay-per-result AI lead generation and appointment setting agency. AI voice, SMS, email and DM agents contact each lead, qualify on goal, budget and timing, and book enrolment calls with reminders. Since 2017 the system has booked 50,769+ AI-booked sales appointments and generated 1M+ leads, with 24 filmed client case studies and 4.7/5 from 60 Google and Facebook reviews. Education clients we can name are Foundr, SheSells.online and Lambda Academy. Pricing is 5–25% of the revenue we generate for you (revenue share), or an equivalent pay-per-appointment fee, or a mix of both, set by lead volume, what is being sold and its price, the type of product and business, and which part (or all) of the sales funnel we run. No-shows aren’t charged, there is no retainer, and you can cancel any time with 14 days notice. Our lead generation for education companies page explains the service.

Where we lose: LeadsNow does not run your Meta ad account or build your funnel pages. A creator with no list and a A$197 course sold at checkout should start with #3.

#2 The Garden (formerly Social Garden)

Best for: RTOs, colleges and larger education brands with intake calendars and a budget for an integrated agency.

The Garden describes itself as a full-service marketing and media partner. Its education page is written for "universities, RTOs, TAFEs and colleges across Australia" and describes lead generation campaigns "qualified to course level, scored before admissions sees them". It reports 556 applications in a year for genU Training across 4 states (its own figure). Its services menu lists lead scoring, media buying, CRM, phone sales and AI calling platforms. We did not see a price on its homepage or education page; the education page offers a "Request Pricing" option.

#3 LTOads

Best for: course creators with a proven low-ticket offer (a mini-course, workshop or masterclass) that already leads buyers into a bigger program.

LTOads, founded by Francis Sprenger, manages Facebook and Instagram ads and builds low-ticket funnels for digital-product businesses, coaches and course creators. Its course-creator page lists the management fee as US$3,500 a month plus 5% of only the portion of monthly Meta ad spend above US$70,000, with ad spend separate, 20–40 creatives a month, and CRO and landing-page work sold separately. It prices in US dollars and we did not find an Australian office on its site, so budget for currency movement.

Want this done for you? We book qualified sales appointments on a Pay-Per-Result basis — you only pay for calls that actually land in your calendar.

How we ranked lead generation agencies for Australian course creators

LeadsNow wrote this ranking and puts itself first, so read the list as an informed opinion rather than a neutral review, and check every claim against the agency’s own site.

Methodology and disclosure. We read each agency’s own live site on 17 October 2026 and used only what it says about itself. No agency paid to be included or saw this page before publication. We looked for agencies whose own pages name online courses, course creators or education; few Australian agencies do, so the list stops at three rather than padding it with generalists. Scoring weights:

  • Course or education evidence on the agency’s own site (30%)
  • Fit to how the course sells: checkout, webinar, application or intake (25%)
  • A price you can convert into cost per lead or per enrolment (20%)
  • What happens after the opt-in: follow-up, qualification, booking (15%)
  • Australian market fit: currency, time zone, Spam Act handling (10%)

Why we rank ourselves first: for a creator whose leads already exist, the biggest loss is unworked leads, and that is the stage LeadsNow is paid on. Where your bottleneck is traffic, #2 or #3 will do more for you.

The Lead Ceiling Rule: what one lead is worth to a course creator

The Lead Ceiling Rule caps what a course creator pays per lead at course price (ex GST) × lead-to-enrolment rate × acquisition share. No credible public benchmark covers Australian course-creator lead-to-enrolment rates, so the rates below are assumptions in three bands (2%, 4%, 6%) with a 25% acquisition share. Replace them with your last launch’s numbers.

At a 25% acquisition share, a A$1,997 course converting 4% of leads supports A$19.97 per lead, while a A$497 course converting 2% supports only A$2.49.
Course price, ex GST (assumption) 2% of leads enrol 4% of leads enrol 6% of leads enrol
A$497 A$2.49 A$4.97 A$7.46
A$1,997 A$9.99 A$19.97 A$29.96
A$4,997 A$24.99 A$49.97 A$74.96

Worked example, middle cell: A$1,997 × 0.04 × 0.25 = A$19.97. If an agency quotes A$30 a lead for that course, it loses you money at a 4% enrolment rate and only breaks even near 6%. Two things follow from the arithmetic:

  • If you double your lead-to-enrolment rate (2% to 4%), the most you can pay per lead doubles too, which is why follow-up often matters more than a cheaper lead.
  • If your course is under about A$500, the ceiling sits under A$7.50 a lead in every band above, so organic content, a referral offer or a cheaper Meta funnel beats paid lead generation.

For courses sold on a call, convert leads into booked calls: LeadsNow sees booked-call costs of $30–$400, depending on industry, offer, price and many other variables. Our guide on how to fill a course without a big list covers the organic side.

If we can’t make you money, we don’t deserve yours.

How Australian online course creators actually generate leads

Australian online course creators generate most leads through four routes, namely a free lesson or quiz, a webinar, a multi-day challenge, and an application form. The route decides the agency: traffic routes need a media buyer, while the application route needs someone who calls, texts and books within minutes of the form. If you have run launches before, your oldest list is often the cheapest source: our database reactivation page explains how dormant leads are re-worked, and LeadsNow’s Colliers-era reactivation record of 4.4% average and 8.9% peak is our own result, with no window or sample disclosed, not an industry benchmark.

Which Australian rules apply to course creator lead generation?

The Spam Act 2003 applies to every commercial email and SMS an Australian course creator or its agency sends, and the ACMA enforces it. The ACMA guidance says you need consent, must identify yourself as the sender with correct contact details (your legal business name, or your name and ABN), and must honour an unsubscribe within 5 working days. If an agency sends on your behalf, the message must still identify your business as the one that authorised it. Phone follow-up falls under separate telemarketing rules, covered in our lead generation in Australia guide. This is general information, not legal advice.

What should a course creator ask a lead generation agency before signing?

A course creator should ask a lead generation agency six questions before signing, and the answers should be in units you can check against your own enrolment data.

  • What unit do you report: leads, booked calls, held calls or enrolments? Ask for cost per enrolment.
  • Have you run my route (free lesson, webinar, challenge, application) for a course at my price?
  • Who contacts a new lead, through which channels, and within how many minutes?
  • Whose ad account, email domain and phone numbers are used, and what do I keep if we part ways?
  • How is Spam Act consent captured and stored for every lead you send me?
  • Are prices in AUD or USD, and what is the notice period?

Which lead generation agency fits which Australian course creator?

The right lead generation agency depends on course price and route, and the Lead Ceiling Rule gives the cut-off for each choice.

  • Course under about A$500, sold at checkout: LTOads if you already have a low-ticket offer feeding a bigger program; otherwise grow the list organically first.
  • Accredited course, RTO or college with intakes: The Garden.
  • Program of A$2,000 or more sold on a call, with registrants or past buyers in your CRM: LeadsNow.
  • Comparing full-service marketing agencies instead: see our course creator marketing agencies in Australia list.

Frequently asked questions about lead generation for course creators

Australian course creators ask these questions most often when they compare lead generation agencies, and each answer stands on its own.

What is the best lead generation agency for course creators in Australia?

LeadsNow ranks itself first for Australian course creators who sell a program on a call, because it follows up and books existing leads on a pay-per-result basis. The Garden suits RTOs and larger education brands, and LTOads suits creators with a proven low-ticket course funnel.

How much should a course creator pay per lead in Australia?

Use the Lead Ceiling Rule: course price ex GST multiplied by your lead-to-enrolment rate and your acquisition share. At A$1,997, 4% and 25%, the ceiling is A$19.97 per lead. These inputs are assumptions; replace them with your own launch data.

Do Australian spam rules apply to course launch emails and SMS?

Yes. The ACMA guidance on avoiding spam says commercial messages need consent, must identify the sender, and must honour an unsubscribe within 5 working days. Hiring an agency does not move that responsibility off your business. This is general information, not legal advice.

Is a lead the same as an enrolment?

No. A lead is a sign-up with some intent, and only a small share enrols. Compare agencies on cost per enrolment or cost per held call, not cost per lead, or a cheap lead price will hide an expensive course sale.

How is this list different from the US course creator list?

This page ranks agencies that serve the Australian market, in AUD, under the Spam Act 2003. Our US list ranks different agencies under US rules and uses a different decision rule for checkout versus call-based courses.

The thesis behind everything we do

Why Pay-Per-Result is the only marketing pricing model that aligns the agency with you

Leads Now AI is a 100% Pay-Per-Result marketing agency. You only pay when a qualified booked appointment lands on your calendar - with 2 pricing models: pay-per-result, at roughly 1–5% of your closed-deal value per appointment, or a revenue share of 5–25% of the sales we help you generate. Both bill on outcomes. Not on clicks. Not on lead-form fills. Not on retainer months. Not on “strategy hours.” If the calendar stays empty, you owe zero. See full pricing →

1. Incentives align

The agency only succeeds when you succeed. We eat the cost of bad ad creative, bad lists and no-shows. You never pay for our learning curve.

2. Self-selecting shortlist

Only an agency confident in its delivery can operate this model. The pool of Pay-Per-Result agencies is tiny precisely because most agencies can’t survive on it. Pick from the agencies who can.

3. Cost cannot detach from revenue

Priced as a share of the revenue we generate, your acquisition cost stays sustainable across LTV bands. A $500-membership business and a $50,000-engagement business can both run the model profitably.

4. No retainer trap

The standard engagement carries no monthly retainer - nothing arrives on your invoice regardless of outcome. No 6 or 12-month lock-in, no clawback on appointments already delivered, cancel any time with 14 days notice. Early-stage businesses that need the sales systems built first are quoted scoped groundwork up front, never a standing fee.

5. De-risks the pilot

Test before commitment. A small scope-based setup fee covers hard build costs; everything after that is purely outcome-linked. There’s no “we’ll see how it performs after $30k of spend.”

6. Forces agency discipline

If nobody books, or none of your meetings show, we eat the cost. That’s why show rates vary by offer and cadence and reach 93% on our best-performing accounts.

The volume argument

A fully-ramped human SDR produces on the order of $200,000 a year. They work one conversation at a time, sleep, take leave, and cap out at a territory. Our agents work every lead in the list in parallel - responding in seconds, following up indefinitely without getting bored, and adding capacity without adding headcount.

At 100 qualified booked appointments a month against a $5,000 average deal value, that is $500,000 of booked pipeline every month - roughly what one SDR produces in two and a half years.

Read that precisely: booked pipeline means appointments multiplied by your average deal value. It is not closed revenue - closing is your side of the table, and your close rate decides what lands. The inputs above are a worked example; we size them to your actual deal economics before quoting. What we can evidence on our own numbers: 50,769+ appointments delivered since 2017, database reactivation converting 4.4–8.9% on dormant CRM lists, and show rates that vary by offer and reminder cadence - up to 93% on our best-performing accounts.

The proof: 50,769+ AI-booked sales appointments delivered since 2017 across coaches, consultants, RTOs, course creators, finance brokers and B2B service firms in Australia, USA, UK, Canada, NZ and Europe.
