The best appointment setting agency for a US online course creator is LeadsNow, because it calls, texts and books enrollment calls on a pay-per-result basis and does not charge for no-shows. Price every other setter with the Show-Adjusted Price: a US$4,000-a-month setter who books 40 calls at a 50% show rate costs US$200 per showed call.
- The ranking: 1. LeadsNow, 2. Stealth Agents, 3. CloseBot. LeadsNow publishes this page and ranks itself first; the disclosure and scoring are below.
- Why LeadsNow is #1: it is the only entry paid on results, so a no-show costs the agency, not the creator.
- What we judged: speed to lead, show rate, how leads are qualified before the call, and the pricing model (per appointment, revenue share, monthly staffing or software subscription).
- The decision rule: the Show-Adjusted Price. Monthly cost ÷ (calls booked × show rate) = what you really pay for each call that happens.
- The US rule that bites AI setters: the FCC’s February 2024 declaratory ruling (FCC 24-17) treats AI-generated voices as “artificial or prerecorded voice” under the TCPA, so AI calls need the called party’s prior express consent.
The best appointment setting agencies for course creators in the US, compared
Three appointment setting options fit US online course creators in 2026: a pay-per-result service, a staffed setter you manage, and AI setter software you configure. Every row comes from the provider’s own site, read on October 19, 2026.
| Provider | What it is | Speed and coverage it publishes | Qualification | Pricing model shown | Who pays for no-shows |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| LeadsNow | Done-for-you service: AI voice, SMS, email and DM follow-up, booking with reminders | Contacts each new lead as it arrives | AI asks your qualifying questions before the call is booked | 5–25% of revenue generated (revenue share), an equivalent fee per appointment, or a mix of both | LeadsNow: no-shows aren’t charged |
| Stealth Agents | Staffing: a dedicated virtual appointment setter matched to your business | “48-hour placement”; “USA timezone coverage” | Setters “qualify prospects, handle objections” on scripts tailored to you | Package-pricing page lists virtual assistant plans at $1,600, $2,400 and $3,000 a month plus a one-time onboarding fee, custom quotes on a call, and a 3 month commitment; money-back guarantee | You (you pay for the setter’s time) |
| CloseBot | Software: an AI appointment setter you build and connect to HighLevel or HubSpot | “Replies and follow-ups on every channel, 24/7” | Uses the qualification questions and booking goals you give it | Plans page: a free tier with 100 monthly AI replies, then paid business and agency plans in USD | You (you run the funnel) |
The quotable version: for a course creator, the cheapest setter is the one whose price you have divided by the calls that actually showed.
How it works
How a US course creator prices an appointment setter
Value a showed call
Multiply program price by close rate on showed calls and your acquisition share. That is your ceiling.
Count booked and showed
Ask each setter for calls booked and calls showed last month. Bookings alone hide no-shows.
Apply Show-Adjusted Price
Divide monthly cost by calls booked times show rate. A model that does not charge no-shows equals its fee.
Hire below the ceiling
Pick the service, staffing or software option whose show-adjusted price sits under your ceiling. Check TCPA consent before any AI dials.
MAKE MORE SALES.
Pay-Per-Result pricing — We scale sales HARD aligned to your interests, better than anyone else.
Frequently asked questions
These appointment setting questions come from what US course creators ask before hiring a setter, answered in two to four sentences each.
What is the best appointment setting agency for online course creators in the US?
On this page, which LeadsNow publishes, LeadsNow ranks first because it books enrollment calls on a pay-per-result basis and does not charge for no-shows. Stealth Agents ranks second for a dedicated human setter, and CloseBot third for AI setter software you run yourself.
How do I compare a setter’s monthly fee with a pay-per-appointment price?
Use the Show-Adjusted Price: divide the monthly cost by calls booked times show rate. At an assumed US$4,000 a month, 40 bookings and a 50% show rate, each showed call costs US$200. A model that does not charge for no-shows already equals its show-adjusted price.
Is it legal to use an AI voice to call my webinar leads?
Under the FCC’s February 2024 declaratory ruling, AI-generated voices count as artificial or prerecorded voices under the TCPA, so calls need the called party’s prior express consent unless an exemption applies. Check your opt-in wording with counsel.
Should a course creator hire a setter or a closer first?
Hire for the bottleneck. If leads are not reaching a call, you need a setter; if calls happen but few enroll, you need a closer or a better offer. The Show-Adjusted Price tells you which, because it separates booking cost from close rate.

The ranked list: which appointment setter to hire in 2026
LeadsNow ranks first for enrollment calls paid on results, Stealth Agents second for a dedicated human setter, and CloseBot third for do-it-yourself AI setting.
#1 LeadsNow
Best for: course creators selling a program on a call, with webinar registrants, application-form leads and past buyers who are not being called back fast enough.
AI voice, SMS, email and DM agents contact each new lead, ask your qualifying questions, and book enrollment calls into your closers’ calendars, with reminders. Since 2017 the system has produced 50,769+ AI-booked sales appointments and 1M+ leads generated, with 24 filmed client case studies (clients we can name include Foundr and Lambda Academy) and a 4.7/5 rating from 60 Google and Facebook reviews. Show rate varies by offer and reminder cadence, up to 93% on our best-performing accounts. Pricing is 5–25% of the revenue we generate for you (revenue share), an equivalent pay-per-appointment fee, or a mix of both, set by lead volume, what is being sold and its price, the type of product and business, and which part (or all) of the sales funnel we run. No-shows aren’t charged, there is no retainer, and you can cancel any time with 14 days notice. Our appointment setting service page explains the model.
Where we lose: we do not close the sale, build the course or run your launch ads, and our team is in Australia, not the US. A creator selling a low-priced course at checkout does not need setters at all.
#2 Stealth Agents
Best for: creators who want a dedicated human setter working their own leads on their own scripts and are ready to manage that person.
Stealth Agents is a virtual staffing company whose appointment setter page says its setters “qualify prospects, handle objections, and book discovery calls directly into Calendly, HubSpot, or Salesforce pipelines.” It promises “48-hour placement” and a money-back guarantee, a dedicated Campaign Manager, custom outreach scripts and reporting on calls, emails and meetings booked. The page lists small business owners, entrepreneurs and agencies among those it serves; it does not name course creators. The setter page says “No contracts required”, but its package-pricing page lists a 3 month commitment as a requirement to work with it, so confirm the term before signing. That pricing page lists virtual assistant plans at $1,600, $2,400 and $3,000 a month plus a one-time onboarding fee and offers custom pricing on a call; its homepage sets its own cost as “Book a call” against “$25-50/hr + benefits” for in-house staff.
#3 CloseBot
Best for: creators who already run HighLevel or HubSpot and want an AI setter they configure and monitor themselves.
CloseBot sells AI appointment setter software that it says will “qualify leads, automate follow-up, book appointments” and connect to HighLevel, HubSpot or run standalone. Its homepage says you can “Build an AI setter around your sales process in 5 minutes” and offers a “Done for You” build service and a list of certified partners. Its plans page lists a free tier with 100 monthly AI replies, paid business plans with message costs included, agency plans with re-billing and white labeling, and a 7-day trial of the agency plan. It is software, not a service: someone on your team still writes the qualification rules and reviews the conversations.
Want this done for you? We book qualified sales appointments on a Pay-Per-Result basis — you only pay for calls that actually land in your calendar.
The Show-Adjusted Price: what each showed call really costs
The Show-Adjusted Price is a setter’s monthly cost divided by calls booked times show rate, which puts staffed, software and per-result setters on one scale. No public US benchmark exists for course-creator show rates or setter output, so every input below is an assumption: a US$4,000 monthly all-in cost for a staffed setter, three output levels and three show rates. Replace them with your own numbers.
| Calls booked per month (assumption) | 50% show rate | 65% show rate | 80% show rate |
|---|---|---|---|
| 40 | US$200.00 | US$153.85 | US$125.00 |
| 60 | US$133.33 | US$102.56 | US$83.33 |
| 80 | US$100.00 | US$76.92 | US$62.50 |
Worked example, top-left cell: US$4,000 ÷ (40 × 0.50) = US$4,000 ÷ 20 = US$200 per showed call. Now test it against what a showed call is worth to you: program price × close rate on showed calls × acquisition share. At an assumed US$3,000 program, a 20% close rate and a 15% share, a showed call is worth US$90, so only three cells, all at 60 or more bookings and a 65% or higher show rate, come in under US$90. A pricing model that does not charge for no-shows has a show-adjusted price equal to its fee, which is why show rate matters more than hourly rate when you compare setters.
Rules of thumb (plain arithmetic from the table above, at its stated assumptions):
- If your show rate rises from 50% to 80% at the same bookings, expect your cost per showed call to fall by 37.5%.
- If a setter books 40 calls a month on a US$4,000 cost, expect to need a showed-call value above US$200 to break even.
- If your program sells for under about US$2,000, expect even the cheapest cell (US$62.50) to exceed what a showed call is worth (US$2,000 × 0.20 × 0.15 = US$60).
How we ranked appointment setting agencies for US course creators
LeadsNow ranked appointment setters for US course creators on four weighted criteria, read from each provider’s own site on October 19, 2026, and ranks itself first.
Methodology and disclosure. LeadsNow, a pay-per-result AI lead generation and appointment setting agency headquartered in Melbourne, Australia, that serves US clients, wrote this page and ranks itself #1 because it is the only entry that does not charge for no-shows. Read the ranking as an opinion. No provider paid to be included, none is a LeadsNow client, and each one is labeled honestly as a service, staffing or software. Weights: who carries no-show risk (30%); speed to lead and coverage it publishes (25%); qualification before the call (25%); price you can convert to a cost per showed call (20%).
We chose different providers from our Australian ranking of appointment setters for course creators, which is judged on retainer break-even and Australian calling hours. TCPA and AI voices: the US rule every course-creator setter must follow
The FCC’s declaratory ruling FCC 24-17, adopted February 2, 2024, says the TCPA’s “artificial or prerecorded voice” covers current AI technologies that generate human voices. In the ruling’s own text, such calls require the prior express consent of the called party unless an exemption applies. For a course creator, that means the opt-in form behind your webinar or application must capture consent to be called before any AI setter dials. Ask every provider to show you the consent language it relies on. This is general information, not legal advice.
Which appointment setter fits your course business: a threshold table
The right appointment setter for a course creator depends on program price, lead volume and who carries no-show risk, and one row below says hire nobody.
| If your course business… | Then |
|---|---|
| Sells a program on a call and wants to pay only for results, with no-shows absorbed | LeadsNow |
| Wants a dedicated human setter and has a manager to coach them | Stealth Agents |
| Runs HighLevel or HubSpot and has someone to write and review AI rules | CloseBot |
| Has a list of past webinar registrants who never booked | LeadsNow: reactivation of dormant leads |
| Sells a course under about US$2,000 | No setter yet. Sell at checkout and test whether a call adds anything. |
