Our ranking for Australian flight schools: 1. LeadsNow, 2. Off the Ground Marketing, 3. Aviationfly. As of 10 October 2026 we could verify only one third-party agency with an Australian base and a dedicated flight-school service on its own site (Off the Ground Marketing, Brisbane). LeadsNow publishes this ranking and has booked 50,769+ sales appointments since 2017.
At a glance
- Market: Australian flight training schools (RPL, PPL, CPL, instructor ratings) regulated by CASA under Part 61 and Part 141/142 of the CASR.
- Verified specialist supply: 1 Australian-based flight-school agency; the US specialists we checked state they serve US operators.
- The ranking: 1. LeadsNow (#1 pick), 2. Off the Ground Marketing, 3. Aviationfly (a student-recruitment platform for international aspiring pilots, not an Australian agency).
- How a flight school sells: trial instructional flight, then an admissions or career conversation, then a deposit or enrolment.
- Rules that bite: the Spam Act 2003 (ACMA) for SMS and email, the Do Not Call Register for calls.
How we ranked the Australian flight school options
Each agency had to show this exact niche on its own live website. For Australian flight schools we checked the specialist aviation agencies we could find on 10 October 2026. Off the Ground Marketing has an Australian market page, a flight-school service and CASA-specific compliance products. Right Rudder Marketing says it serves flight schools “across all 50 states”; Aviation Lead Generation (ALG) says it is Florida-based and “serves aviation operators across the United States”. Generic Australian digital agencies exist in large numbers, but padding the list with them would tell you nothing about flight training. So the ranking has three entries: the two agencies that pass, plus Aviationfly, a student-recruitment platform listed third as a different route to students, and a test you can apply to any agency that pitches you.
Methodology and disclosure
LeadsNow publishes this page and ranks itself first because it runs the enquiry-to-booked-call stage on a pay-per-result basis, with no retainer. Inclusion required: (1) a live website checked on 10 October 2026, (2) a page or service on that site naming flight schools, and (3) a stated presence in, or service to, the Australian market. We describe each agency only from its own site. We quote prices only where the agency publishes them. We did not use review scores, as none were comparable across firms. Aviationfly does not meet criterion (3), which is why it ranks third.
How it works
How an Australian flight school vets a lead generation agency
Value one enrolment
Multiply course revenue by close rate and margin. That gives your break-even cost per booked call.
Test CASA fluency
Ask the agency to explain Part 61 versus Part 141 training. Vague answers fail.
Check Spam Act consent
Confirm how SMS and email consent is recorded. Every message needs a working unsubscribe.
Fix the payment unit
Write the unit you pay for into the contract. Clicks, leads, booked calls and enrolments are different bills.

What one enrolled student is worth to an Australian flight school
An Australian flight school’s ticket size varies widely by licence path, aircraft, location and whether the course is a CASA Part 141 integrated program or Part 61 hour-by-hour training, so we do not quote a market average. What matters for choosing an agency is the ratio between what you pay for a booked conversation and what an enrolment is worth. Use this worked calculation with your own numbers:
- Enrolment value = average course revenue per student (your figure, in AUD).
- Booked-call value = enrolment value × your call-to-enrolment rate.
- Break-even cost per booked call = booked-call value × your gross margin.
A hypothetical example: a school earning A$20,000 gross per completing student, closing 1 in 5 booked admissions calls, at a 30% margin, can pay up to A$20,000 × 0.2 × 0.3 = A$1,200 per booked call before it loses money. Across the market, a booked sales call typically costs $30–$400+ depending on industry, offer, price and many other variables. The cost-per-booked-call method walks through the inputs in more detail.

The agencies Australian flight schools can shortlist in 2026
1. LeadsNow
LeadsNow is a Melbourne-based pay-per-result agency that books sales conversations using AI calling, SMS and DM follow-up. It is not an aviation specialist; it runs the enquiry-to-booked-call stage for education and other high-ticket businesses and has booked 50,769+ appointments since 2017. Pricing is 5–25% of the revenue we generate for you (revenue share), or an equivalent pay-per-appointment fee, or a mix of both, depending on lead volume, what is being sold and its price, the type of business, and which part of the funnel we run. No-shows aren’t charged; there is no retainer; cancel any time with 14 days notice. Show rates vary by offer and reminder cadence, up to 93% on our best-performing accounts. Honest weakness: we do not build flight-school websites, shoot aviation video or prepare CASA documentation. Our flight-school lead generation service for Australia explains the workflow.
2. Off the Ground Marketing
Off the Ground Marketing is an aviation-only agency whose site lists flight-school marketing (“discovery flights, student starts, enrolment flow”), a productised flight-school lead generation funnel, aviation SEO, Google Ads, websites and AI chat and call agents. It also sells a separate compliance practice, including CASA Part 61 competency mapping and Part 141/142/145 documentation packs, and an add-on for schools delivering AVI training package qualifications under ASQA. Its pricing page publishes retainers from US$1,500 a month on a three-month minimum, then month-to-month, and says Australian clients can be quoted in AUD on request. Best for a school that wants one aviation-fluent vendor for website, search and compliance paperwork.
3. Aviationfly
Best for: schools that train international students and want to reach aspiring pilots while they are still choosing where to train. Aviationfly describes itself as “Helping Aspiring Pilots Start Their Pilot Training Journey”. It publishes country and airline specific “How to become a Pilot” guides, answers hundreds of FAQs from aspiring pilots, and runs a flight school directory.
It is a student-recruitment platform aimed at international aspiring pilots, not an Australian agency. It says it “has partnered with a select few partner flight schools”, and the partner schools it lists are in the USA (Texas, New York and Missouri). Ask whether it takes Australian schools before you plan around it.
How the three flight school options compare
| Agency | Model | Main channels | Flight-school focus | Published pricing |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| LeadsNow | Pay-per-result | AI calling, SMS, DM follow-up, appointment setting | Education vertical; flight-school service page | 5–25% revenue share, per-appointment fee, or a mix |
| Off the Ground Marketing | Monthly retainer, 3-month minimum then month-to-month | SEO, Google Ads, websites, AI chat/call agents, CASA compliance packs | Aviation only; dedicated flight-school service | From US$1,500/month (AUD quote on request) |
| Aviationfly | Student-recruitment platform and flight school directory | Pilot career guides, FAQs, school directory | Aspiring pilots; listed partner schools are in the USA | Ask directly; ask whether it takes Australian schools |
If we can’t make you money, we don’t deserve yours.

The Five-Gate Flight School Agency Test
Because the shortlist is short, most Australian flight schools will also hear from generalist agencies. This five-gate test is our decision rule: an agency that fails any gate should not get a contract.
| Gate | Question to ask | Pass looks like |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Regulatory fluency | Can you explain the difference between Part 61 and Part 141 training to a prospect? | They describe how each path changes the course length and the sales conversation. |
| 2. Response time | How fast is a trial-flight enquiry contacted, including weekends? | A stated minute target, measured in your CRM, not “same day”. |
| 3. Consent | How do you capture consent for SMS and email under the Spam Act 2003? | A written consent record per lead and a working unsubscribe. |
| 4. Unit of payment | What exactly do I pay for: clicks, leads, booked calls or enrolments? | One named unit, written into the contract. |
| 5. Exit | What is the notice period and who owns the ad accounts and lead data? | Short notice, and you own the accounts and the data. |
The Australian rules that shape flight-school follow-up
Two sets of rules govern how an agency can chase your enquiries. Under the Spam Act 2003, commercial SMS and email need consent, must identify the sender and must carry a functional unsubscribe; the ACMA’s guidance sets out each requirement. Telemarketing calls are also subject to the Do Not Call Register, so cold-calling purchased lists of “aviation enthusiasts” is a compliance risk for your school as well as the agency. On the training side, CASA’s pilot licensing pages cover recreational, private, commercial and air transport licences; ad copy that misstates a licence pathway or training hours creates refund disputes later. This is general information, not legal advice.
When a flight school should not hire an agency yet
If your school cannot take more students because aircraft or instructors are fully booked, more enquiries only lengthen the waitlist. Fix capacity first. If you get enquiries but nobody answers them after hours, start with the response gap: our after-hours flight-school enquiry guide shows the cost. If your trial flights do not convert, measure that rate first using the discovery-flight conversion method. Doing follow-up yourself costs roughly one staff member’s attention across evenings and weekends, plus a CRM and SMS tool; it is the right call for a small school with a few enquiries a week.
Questions Australian flight schools ask about lead generation agencies
How are the Australian flight school options ranked?
LeadsNow ranks first because it runs the enquiry-to-booked-call stage on a pay-per-result basis, with no retainer. Off the Ground Marketing ranks second: it is the only third-party agency we could verify on 10 October 2026 with an Australian presence and a flight-school service on its own site. Aviationfly ranks third because it is a student-recruitment platform for international aspiring pilots, and the partner schools it lists are in the USA. LeadsNow publishes this page and ranks itself first.
Do US flight school marketing agencies work with Australian schools?
The two US specialists we checked describe a US footprint: Right Rudder Marketing serves schools “across all 50 states” and ALG says it serves operators across the United States. Ask any US agency directly whether it runs campaigns in Australia and in AUD before signing.
Can an agency text my flight school enquiries in Australia?
Yes, if the enquiry consented. Under the Spam Act 2003, commercial messages need consent, must identify the sender and must include a working unsubscribe, as set out in the ACMA’s spam rules for businesses. This is general information, not legal advice.
What should a flight school pay per booked call?
Work it out from your own enrolment value, close rate and margin, as in the worked calculation on this page. Across industries a booked sales call typically costs $30–$400+ depending on industry, offer, price and many other variables.
How is this different from the LeadsNow flight-school service page?
The service page explains how LeadsNow runs flight-school follow-up. This guide compares the agencies an Australian school can actually shortlist and gives a five-gate test for any agency that pitches you.
