$61k in New Contracts in 4 Months: How Six Pack Bootcamp Rebuilt After COVID

At a glance: Caleb Ormsby owns Six Pack Bootcamp, a hybrid training facility in Browns Plains, Brisbane, specialising in group training. When COVID hit, members dropped off and the business had no online strategy at all. Caleb joined the Remote 91 program run by the LeadsNow team under its fitness brand More Gym Members — and in his words: “That’s about 61K worth of contracts in the last four months.” Every figure on this page comes straight from the filmed interview, as told by Caleb Ormsby on camera.

The numbers, as stated in the filmed interview

Metric Result
New contracts closed About $61,000 in the last four months
21-day challenges sold 80 at $199 — “a pretty cool upfront cash injection”
Weekly memberships closed 40 at $59 a week
Capacity the gym was operating at About 70% — “we’re not even pushing hard”
12-month goal Rebuild the membership base to 500 members — “pretty much on track”
Every figure above was stated by Caleb in the filmed interview below. Nothing has been extrapolated or rounded up.

Watch Caleb tell it himself

A note on the era: this result was delivered by the LeadsNow team under its fitness brand, More Gym Members, and the video was filmed in 2020, during the COVID recovery. It predates the AI sales agents LeadsNow runs today — what you see here is the team’s earlier work with high-ticket fitness businesses: coaching, sales systems and helping gyms move online, exactly as described on camera.

Where Six Pack Bootcamp was before

Caleb’s business wasn’t broken before the pandemic — but it wasn’t bulletproof either. Income and revenue were steady, though by his own account there were culture issues to rebuild and things were “a little bit shaky leading into COVID”. Then the lockdowns landed. As Caleb puts it, “COVID was just the icing on the cake.”

Members dropped off as people lost jobs and panicked. And the gym had no fallback: Six Pack Bootcamp had never run anything online — Caleb had never even used Zoom before COVID. He is blunt about what that period felt like:

“I won’t even lie, it was horrifying… I’ll never forget the feeling. I felt like my gut sunk. I was like everything I’ve worked for, my life’s work, was like literally gonna disappear and it’s a very scary feeling.”

— Caleb Ormsby, Six Pack Bootcamp

What changed

Caleb found the team the way plenty of clients have — through Riley’s ads, which he says “popped up in every news feed” while he was scrolling. Knowing he had to do something, he jumped into the Remote 91 challenge.

What he got out of it, first and foremost, was a clear plan — and the confidence to execute it:

“I had so much faith in the program that obviously the MGM crew put together. It was very clear and it just gave me that confidence, we can rebuild this, but in a different way.”

— Caleb Ormsby, Six Pack Bootcamp

Through the program, Caleb learnt how to implement and leverage an online arm of the business for the first time — something he says he’d been talking about doing “only for the last seven years” without ever pulling the trigger. Being part of the crew forced the move online, alongside the rebuild of the in-person business.

The results: about $61k in contracts in four months

Once Queensland reopened and the system was in place, the sales side of the business took off. Here is the result exactly as Caleb states it on camera:

“One of the biggest highlights is sales. Our sale has boomed. We’ve closed… 80 21-day challenges at 199. So that gave us a pretty cool upfront cash injection. We’ve closed 40 memberships at 59 a week. That’s about 61K worth of contracts in the last four months.”

— Caleb Ormsby, Six Pack Bootcamp

Just as telling is what he says next: the gym was “probably working at about 70% capacity” while producing those numbers. In his words, “we’re not even pushing hard and we’re still getting all the results and we’re just following the system.”

For a group-training facility that months earlier had no online strategy and an owner who feared losing his life’s work, 80 challenge sign-ups on the front end plus 40 weekly memberships — roughly $61,000 in signed contracts in four months — is the kind of turnaround worth filming.

Where the business is now

On camera, Caleb lays out the position and the plan: rebuild the membership base to 500 members within 12 months — a goal he says the business is “pretty much on track” for — and keep building the new online arm alongside the facility in Browns Plains. Selling, once the scariest part, has flipped: “Sales has been the easiest I have ever done sales in my life. The numbers are reflecting that.”

The personal shift is just as clear as the commercial one:

“When COVID hit, I’m assuming like most gym owners, I was lost, I was confused. I had a bit of anxiety… Now, I just, I feel so clear on where we’re going and what we need to do to get to that goal.”

— Caleb Ormsby, Six Pack Bootcamp

His advice to other business owners watching is simple: “Have faith in what you guys are doing. You guys are the experts.”

Frequently asked questions

How bad was the period this story starts in?

Brutal — and not just for gyms. In the Australian Bureau of Statistics’ Business Impacts of COVID-19 survey (22–28 April 2020), seven in ten Australian businesses (72%) reported that reduced cash flow was expected to have an adverse impact on their business over the following two months. Six Pack Bootcamp was living exactly that: members dropping off, no online offering, and an owner who thought he was going to lose the whole business.

What is Remote 91?

Remote 91 was the challenge program the More Gym Members team ran during COVID to help gym owners rebuild. As Caleb describes it in the interview, it showed him how to implement and leverage an online strategy for the first time, gave him a clear plan, and gave him the confidence to rebuild the business “in a different way” — leading into the sales system that produced the results above.

Are these results typical?

No specific result is ever guaranteed, and anyone who promises one is being loose with the truth. What this story shows is what Caleb says on camera: he followed the system, the gym was only running at about 70% capacity, and the numbers still came. A strong offer (an accessible 21-day challenge front end converting into weekly memberships) plus consistent execution did the work.

Does LeadsNow still work with fitness businesses?

Yes. This result was delivered under LeadsNow’s fitness brand More Gym Members, before today’s AI sales agents existed. The same team now works with high-ticket coaching and fitness businesses across Australia under LeadsNow. If you run a gym or fitness studio, start with the More Gym Members page — or see how other clients have gone on the client stories hub.

The thesis behind everything we do

Why Pay-Per-Result is the only marketing pricing model that aligns the agency with you

Leads Now AI is a 100% Pay-Per-Result marketing agency. You only pay when a qualified booked appointment lands on your calendar — sized to roughly 1–5% of your closed-deal value. Not for clicks. Not for lead-form fills. Not for retainer months. Not for “strategy hours.” If the calendar stays empty, you owe zero. See full pricing →

1. Incentives align

The agency only succeeds when you succeed. We eat the cost of bad ad creative, bad lists, ICP mismatches and no-shows. You never pay for our learning curve.

2. Self-selecting shortlist

Only an agency confident in its delivery can operate this model. The pool of Pay-Per-Result agencies is tiny precisely because most agencies can’t survive on it. Pick from the agencies who can.

3. Cost cannot detach from revenue

Sized to 1–5% of closed-deal value, your acquisition cost stays sustainable across LTV bands. A $500-membership business and a $50,000-engagement business can both run the model profitably.

4. No retainer trap

No flat $2,000–$10,000/month retainer arriving regardless of outcome. No 6 or 12-month lock-in. No clawback on appointments already delivered. Cancel any time with 7 days notice.

5. De-risks the pilot

Test before commitment. A small scope-based setup fee covers hard build costs; everything after that is purely outcome-linked. There’s no “we’ll see how it performs after $30k of spend.”

6. Forces agency discipline

If our AI agents qualify poorly, if our reminders fail, if our no-show recovery doesn’t fire — we eat the cost. That’s why the show-rate benchmark sits at 60–75%+.
