LeadsNow vs Callbox: Pay-Per-Result vs Program Pricing

LeadsNow vs Callbox: Email, SMS and voice outreach from an AI sales agent converging into a booked calendar appointment.
Email, SMS and voice outreach from an AI sales agent converging into a booked calendar appointment.

LeadsNow vs Callbox comes down to how you pay. Callbox sells subscription “Campaign Pods”, and its pricing page estimates $16,000–$32,000 a quarter per pod, each with one dedicated SDR. LeadsNow charges 5–25% of the revenue it generates for you (revenue share), or an equivalent pay-per-appointment fee, and no-shows aren’t charged. Callbox fits multi-market B2B outbound; LeadsNow fits buyers who want fees tied to results.

At a glance (Callbox facts from its own pages, read 21 October 2026):

  • Callbox: B2B lead generation and appointment setting company founded in 2004, headquartered in Encino, California, with 700+ full-time staff according to its company profile.
  • Callbox pricing: subscription per Campaign Pod; “estimated quarterly investment $16,000–$32,000” per pod, exact pricing after consultation. The page does not state a currency.
  • LeadsNow: Australian pay-per-result AI lead generation and appointment setting agency serving AU, US and UK clients, with 50,769+ AI-booked sales appointments since 2017 and 1M+ leads generated.
  • LeadsNow pricing: a revenue share, a fee per appointment, or a mix of both, set by lead volume, what is being sold and its price, the type of product and business, and which part (or all) of the funnel LeadsNow runs.
  • The deciding test: the fixed-fee floor, meaning how many closed deals a quarter you need just to cover a fixed fee (worked below).

How do LeadsNow and Callbox compare side by side?

LeadsNow and Callbox differ on four lines that matter to a buyer: the pricing model, who does the calling, which channels run, and which buyers each company says it serves.

How it works

Choosing between a pod subscription and pay-per-result

01

Collect both quotes

Note Callbox’s quarterly pod estimate and LeadsNow’s revenue-share or per-appointment terms for your offer.

02

Find the fixed-fee floor

Divide the quarterly pod fee by your gross profit per closed deal. That is the number of deals needed just to cover it.

03

Test against held meetings

Divide the floor by your close rate on held meetings. Ask each provider to commit to held meetings in writing.

04

Match the fit

Choose the pod for multi-market cold B2B outbound, or pay-per-result if you have leads and want fees tied to outcomes.

Converting a fixed quarterly fee into the deals needed to cover it shows whether a pod or a results-based fee carries less risk for you.

Frequently asked questions

Is LeadsNow cheaper than Callbox?

It depends on your results. Callbox’s fee is fixed per pod per quarter, so its cost per deal falls as results rise. LeadsNow’s fee is a share of revenue generated or a fee per appointment, so it rises and falls with results. Run the fixed-fee floor on your own gross profit per deal.

Does Callbox publish its pricing?

Yes, as an estimate. Callbox’s pricing page showed an estimated quarterly investment of $16,000–$32,000 per Campaign Pod on 21 October 2026, with exact pricing after consultation.

How do I cancel LeadsNow?

You can cancel LeadsNow any time with 14 days notice.

Does LeadsNow charge for no-shows?

No. No-shows aren’t charged. Bad ad creative, bad lists and the cost of contacting people who never book are LeadsNow’s cost, not the client’s.

Which is better for enterprise B2B outbound?

For cold outbound into enterprise technology accounts across several countries, Callbox’s published focus (Software, SaaS, Cloud, Cybersecurity, Fintech and AI, plus ABM and event marketing) is the closer match. LeadsNow is built around converting leads and databases into booked appointments on results.

What does Callbox cost, according to its own pricing page?

Callbox’s pricing page estimates $16,000–$32,000 a quarter for one Campaign Pod, with exact pricing given after a consultation, on both its global and Australian sites.

The Callbox pricing page lists what each pod includes: one dedicated SDR, a multi-channel outreach cadence, AI-enriched contact data, campaign manager oversight and weekly performance reporting. Pods are additive (“Add pods to scale your pipeline”), and the calculator prices each pod separately, so by that arithmetic two pods would come to $32,000–$64,000 a quarter. The Callbox Australia pricing page shows the same $16,000–$32,000 range per pod and does not name the currency. Callbox’s pricing FAQ describes the model as “subscription-based” with “predictable costs”, priced on target industry, campaign complexity, geographic reach and sales cycle length.

Predictable cost is a real benefit for a finance team that budgets by quarter. The trade-off is that the fee is the same in a strong quarter and a thin one.

Want this done for you? We book qualified sales appointments on a Pay-Per-Result basis — you only pay for calls that actually land in your calendar.

What does LeadsNow cost, and what does it absorb?

LeadsNow costs 5–25% of the revenue it generates for you, or an equivalent pay-per-appointment fee, or a mix of both, with no retainer.

Where in that range a business lands depends on lead volume, what is being sold and its price, the type of product and business, and which part (or all) of the sales funnel LeadsNow runs. The client funds ad spend; LeadsNow funds the team, management, testing and optimisation. LeadsNow also absorbs the costs that sit inside a fixed fee elsewhere:

  • No-shows aren’t charged.
  • Bad ad creative and bad lists are LeadsNow’s cost.
  • So is contacting the thousands of people who never book.

LeadsNow’s guarantee card puts it plainly: “If nobody books, or none of your meetings show, we eat the cost.” The general trade-off between the two models is set out in pay-per-result vs retainer marketing agencies.

The fixed-fee floor: how many deals cover a Callbox pod?

The fixed-fee floor is the number of closed deals a quarter needed to cover a fixed fee: divide the quarterly fee by your gross profit per deal.

A revenue share has no floor, because its fee is a percentage of revenue that has already been generated. A fixed pod fee does, and the floor is what you should compare against your realistic close numbers. The fees below are Callbox’s published range; the gross-profit figures are assumptions for you to replace with your own.

At an assumed $5,000 gross profit per deal, a $16,000 pod needs 3.2 closed deals a quarter and a $32,000 pod needs 6.4 before it pays for itself.
Gross profit per closed deal (assumption) Deals per quarter to cover $16,000 Deals per quarter to cover $32,000
$2,000 8.0 16.0
$5,000 3.2 6.4
$10,000 1.6 3.2
$25,000 0.64 1.28

Worked example: $32,000 ÷ $5,000 = 6.4 deals. At an assumed 25% close rate on held meetings, that is 6.4 ÷ 0.25 = 25.6 held meetings a quarter before the pod breaks even. If a provider will commit in writing to more held meetings than that, a fixed fee can be the cheaper option. If not, the floor sits with you. A pay-per-appointment fee has a different shape again: it scales with meetings that actually take place, which is why no-shows matter.

If we can’t make you money, we don’t deserve yours.

Who should choose Callbox, and who should choose LeadsNow?

Callbox suits B2B companies that want a dedicated human SDR team running cold outbound across several countries; LeadsNow suits operators who want booked appointments billed on results.

Callbox is often the better fit if:

  • You sell B2B technology (Callbox names Software, SaaS, Cloud, Cybersecurity, Fintech and AI) and need new accounts from cold lists.
  • You want account-based marketing, event and webinar promotion, and appointment setting under one contract.
  • You are entering several markets at once: Callbox’s homepage lists cross-border campaigns across APAC, EMEA, LATAM and North America.
  • Your finance team prefers a predictable quarterly fee to a variable one.

LeadsNow is often the better fit if:

  • You already have leads, ad spend or a database, and the leak is in contact speed, booking and show rate. Show rates vary by offer and reminder cadence, up to 93% on LeadsNow’s best-performing accounts.
  • You want the fee to move with outcomes: a revenue share, a fee per appointment, or a mix of both.
  • You want AI calling, SMS and DM follow-up run for you, through LeadsNow’s AI appointment setting service, rather than a human SDR seat.

Neither choice is wrong in general. A company with no leads and a long enterprise sales cycle has a different problem from a coach or clinic with 500 enquiries a month and a 30% booking rate.

How to check either company’s claims before you sign

Checking a lead generation company’s claims takes three requests: held-meeting numbers in writing, a real client you can verify, and a definition of every headline metric.

  • Callbox publishes case studies and states a 4.9/5 average rating on its Australian homepage; ask which campaigns are comparable to yours and what each one cost.
  • LeadsNow has 24 filmed client case studies on its case studies page, a rating of 4.7/5 from 60 Google and Facebook reviews, and named clients including Colliers, Foundr and Marcus Wilkinson / Iron Body.
  • Any “average lift” claim needs its method. LeadsNow’s 7x average sales lift is defined on its methodology page, which also discloses that the median is closer to 4x.

The thesis behind everything we do

Why Pay-Per-Result is the only marketing pricing model that aligns the agency with you

Leads Now AI is a 100% Pay-Per-Result marketing agency. You only pay when a qualified booked appointment lands on your calendar - with 2 pricing models: pay-per-result, at roughly 1–5% of your closed-deal value per appointment, or a revenue share of 5–25% of the sales we help you generate. Both bill on outcomes. Not on clicks. Not on lead-form fills. Not on retainer months. Not on “strategy hours.” If the calendar stays empty, you owe zero. See full pricing →

1. Incentives align

The agency only succeeds when you succeed. We eat the cost of bad ad creative, bad lists and no-shows. You never pay for our learning curve.

2. Self-selecting shortlist

Only an agency confident in its delivery can operate this model. The pool of Pay-Per-Result agencies is tiny precisely because most agencies can’t survive on it. Pick from the agencies who can.

3. Cost cannot detach from revenue

Priced as a share of the revenue we generate, your acquisition cost stays sustainable across LTV bands. A $500-membership business and a $50,000-engagement business can both run the model profitably.

4. No retainer trap

The standard engagement carries no monthly retainer - nothing arrives on your invoice regardless of outcome. No 6 or 12-month lock-in, no clawback on appointments already delivered, cancel any time with 14 days notice. Early-stage businesses that need the sales systems built first are quoted scoped groundwork up front, never a standing fee.

5. De-risks the pilot

Test before commitment. A small scope-based setup fee covers hard build costs; everything after that is purely outcome-linked. There’s no “we’ll see how it performs after $30k of spend.”

6. Forces agency discipline

If nobody books, or none of your meetings show, we eat the cost. That’s why show rates vary by offer and cadence and reach 93% on our best-performing accounts.

The volume argument

A fully-ramped human SDR produces on the order of $200,000 a year. They work one conversation at a time, sleep, take leave, and cap out at a territory. Our agents work every lead in the list in parallel - responding in seconds, following up indefinitely without getting bored, and adding capacity without adding headcount.

At 100 qualified booked appointments a month against a $5,000 average deal value, that is $500,000 of booked pipeline every month - roughly what one SDR produces in two and a half years.

Read that precisely: booked pipeline means appointments multiplied by your average deal value. It is not closed revenue - closing is your side of the table, and your close rate decides what lands. The inputs above are a worked example; we size them to your actual deal economics before quoting. What we can evidence on our own numbers: 50,769+ appointments delivered since 2017, database reactivation converting 4.4–8.9% on dormant CRM lists, and show rates that vary by offer and reminder cadence - up to 93% on our best-performing accounts.

The proof: 50,769+ AI-booked sales appointments delivered since 2017 across coaches, consultants, RTOs, course creators, finance brokers and B2B service firms in Australia, USA, UK, Canada, NZ and Europe. Named clients include Sam Tajvidi (121 Brokers), Marcus Wilkinson (Iron Body), Foundr, SheSells.online and Lambda Academy. Wikidata Q139846230. See full Pay-Per-Result pricing →
