Of seven Australian lead generation agencies checked on 25 September 2026, three publish numbers from roofing accounts: Local Digital (61 roof quotes a month for a sample client), True Blue Tradie Marketing ($46.82–$59.93 per enquiry) and Marketing One. None names the roofer. LeadsNow publishes this list, ranks itself first on pay-per-result, and has no roofing case study.
- Roofing evidence: roofing-account numbers at Local Digital, True Blue Tradie Marketing and Marketing One. Unattributed roofing averages only at Roofer Rise. A roofing page only at Resurge Digital and Safari Digital. None at LeadsNow.
- Published prices: Local Digital says most roofers spend $2,000–$6,000 a month plus ad spend. True Blue lists $235 a week for Google or Meta Ads management and SEO from $2,200 a month. The other four Australian agencies publish no price on the pages we read. LeadsNow takes a 5–20% revenue share.
- Territory: Local Digital and Roofer Rise both say they take one roofer per area.
- Market size: the ABS counted 6,240 roofing businesses (ANZSIC class 3223) at June 2025. Only 869 employed five or more people.
- The test to run: the Inspection Ceiling below, the most you can pay per qualified roof inspection for your job mix.
How we ranked lead generation agencies for roofing companies
This list is for the owner or GM of an Australian roofing business (re-roofing, restoration or metal roofing) who is choosing an agency. Roofing sells on two clocks. Storm leaks buy within hours. Restorations and re-roofs are researched for weeks and priced against other quotes. And every quote costs a site visit. We scored each agency on six criteria built around that:
- Who pays for a wasted inspection (25%). Is the agency paid if no qualified homeowner is booked?
- Roofing evidence (25%). Numbers from a roofing account on the agency’s own site. A roofing page alone earns part credit.
- Reports past the lead (15%). Does it report cost per quote, per inspection or per signed job, not just cost per lead?
- Job-mix targeting (15%). Can it steer spend toward replacements and restorations rather than $300 leak patches?
- Storm and season plan (10%). A stated way to handle storm surges and the dry-month restoration peak.
- Territory and price transparency (10%). One roofer per area, and a published price or model.
Disclosure: LeadsNow publishes this list and ranks itself #1. Criterion 1 carries the most weight, and that is how we sell. On criterion 2 we score zero: none of our 24 filmed client case studies is a roofer. On criterion 6 we publish a model, not a dollar price. Ranked on roofing evidence alone, we would come last. No agency paid to be included. Every other entry was checked on its own live site on 25 September 2026.
How it works
How a roofing business shortlists a lead generation agency
Set your Inspection Ceiling
Multiply your average signed job by the share you will spend winning it and by your inspection-to-signed rate. That is the most one inspection can cost.
Demand roofing-account numbers
Ask for results from a roofing account on the agency’s own site. A roofing page alone is a claim, not evidence.
Check job mix and territory
Confirm the agency can weight spend toward replacements and restorations, and whether it takes another roofer in your postcodes.
Agree the storm plan
Get in writing how surge enquiries are answered and followed up within hours. Also get the plan for the dry-month restoration season.
MAKE MORE SALES.

The seven agencies, ranked
1. LeadsNow AI: pay-per-result inspections and dead-quote follow-up
LeadsNow is a Melbourne agency. Its AI agents contact, qualify and follow up enquiries by voice, SMS and email. They then book qualified homeowners into the roofer’s calendar. It has booked 50,769+ AI-booked sales appointments since 2017 and generated 1M+ leads, and it is rated 4.6 from 43 Google reviews. You pay 5–20% of the sales it helps generate, or a fee per booked qualified appointment, instead of a retainer. Our roofing lead generation page explains how this works for roofers.
Honest weaknesses: no roofing case study, and no published dollar price. A booked inspection costs more than a raw lead. We are not a fit for repair-only outfits or brand-new operators with no quote history. Where we lose: if you are invisible in the Google map pack, Local Digital fixes that more directly. If you want a published fixed weekly fee, True Blue is the better fit.
2. Local Digital: search and maps, reported to cost per quote
Local Digital has offices in Parramatta NSW and Burleigh Heads QLD, and says it has served 300+ Australian businesses since 2015. Its roofing page shows a sample roofing client at 61 roof quotes a month nine months in. It says most roofers spend $2,000–$6,000 a month plus ad spend, on month-to-month terms. It won’t sign two roofers chasing the same postcodes. It reports cost per quote by service and suburb. Weakness: the client is unnamed, and none of the five services on its roofing page is quote follow-up. Best for: roofers who lose storm and suburb searches.
3. True Blue Tradie Marketing: published fees and published roofer accounts
True Blue says it is Australian owned and was co-founded by a tradie and a marketer. Its roofer page lists three accounts. A Maitland NSW replacement account has 588 enquiries from $35.2K of spend ($59.93 each). A Newcastle NSW account has 476 from $22.3K ($46.82). A roof restoration Meta campaign has 407 leads at $32.56. Prices are published: $235 a week for Google or Meta Ads management, SEO from $2,200 a month, no lock-in. Weakness: the figures are per enquiry, not per signed job, and the accounts are unnamed. Best for: a roofer who wants fixed fees and visible numbers.
4. Marketing One: SEO-led, with a Melbourne roofing result
Marketing One is in Brisbane (Adelaide Street). Its roofer SEO page says one Melbourne roofing client went from 10–30 calls a week to an average of 500 a month. It says another, a former sole trader, generated 630 enquiries over three months from his website. Its case studies page lists M&M Roofing in its portfolio, but with no results attached. Weakness: the results are unnamed and no price is published. Best for: roofers who want to own organic search.
5. Roofer Rise: a roofing-only lead provider
Roofer Rise presents itself as a roofing-only lead provider. It lists 21 service areas, each marked available or not, and takes one company per area. It says leads are 100% exclusive and can be targeted to replacements, metal roofing, restoration, repairs or guttering. It offers money back “if we don’t deliver”. Weakness: no price and no channels are published. Its headline figures (35+ leads a month, 17x ROI, a 67% lead-to-job close rate, all stated as averages) name no client, and its one example is an unnamed Sunshine Coast roofer. Best for: a regional roofer whose area is still open.
6. Resurge Digital: a South East Queensland trades agency
Resurge Digital’s roofer page says it has worked with roofing companies across South East Queensland. It offers SEO, Google Ads, social media and websites, with monthly reports on rankings, traffic and lead volume. Weakness: no roofing numbers and no published price, and it reports lead volume rather than signed jobs. Best for: SEQ roofers who want one local provider.
7. Safari Digital: roofing SEO from Sydney
Safari Digital is in Sydney (York Street) and has a roofing SEO page. Its pricing page says the process runs for “6-9 months at a minimum”. Weakness: no roofing result on the roofing page, and no published price. Best for: an established roofer committing to organic search for most of a year.

What can I afford to pay per roof inspection? The Inspection Ceiling
The Inspection Ceiling is the most a roofing business can pay to put one qualified inspection in the diary before the job stops paying for its own marketing. Every pricing model on this list ends up as a cost per inspection, so this is the number to compare agencies against.
Inspection Ceiling = average signed job value × share of that job you will spend on acquisition × inspections signed ÷ inspections done
Here is a worked example with illustrative inputs, not benchmarks, so replace them with your own. You spend 10% of a signed job on winning it and sign one inspection in three. A $15,000 replacement gives $15,000 × 10% × 1/3 = $500 per inspection. A $4,500 restoration gives $150. A $600 repair gives $20. Our roofing page cites published cost ranges for all three job types. Now divide a fixed monthly cost by the ceiling. A $7,000 month ($4,000 fee plus $3,000 ads) needs 14 qualified replacement inspections to pay for itself. On restorations it needs about 47.
| Job mix | Illustrative signed value | Inspection Ceiling (10%, 1 in 3) | Inspections/month to cover $7,000 | Inspections/month to cover $2,000 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mostly replacements | $15,000 | $500 | 14 | 4 |
| Mostly restorations | $4,500 | $150 | 46.7 | 13.3 |
| Mostly repairs | $600 | $20 | 350 | 100 |
The Inspection Ceiling rule: if your crews can’t get through the inspections in your row each month, the fixed fee is too big for your job mix. A revenue share also has to fit. A share at or below your acquisition percentage stays inside the ceiling, so on these inputs that means the 5–10% end of LeadsNow’s 5–20% band. A repair-led business clears no row, which is why job-mix targeting is a scoring criterion. The pay-per-lead vs pay-per-appointment comparison runs the same maths per appointment.
If we can’t make you money, we don’t deserve yours.

Frequently asked questions
How much do roofing marketing agencies charge in Australia?
Few publish it. Local Digital says most roofing businesses spend $2,000 to $6,000 a month plus ad spend. True Blue Tradie Marketing lists $235 a week for Google or Meta Ads management and SEO from $2,200 a month, with ad spend paid separately. LeadsNow takes a 5 to 20% revenue share instead of a fee. Marketing One, Roofer Rise, Resurge Digital and Safari Digital published no price on the pages we read.
How many roofing businesses are there in Australia?
The ABS Counts of Australian Businesses recorded 6,240 businesses in ANZSIC class 3223, Roofing Services, operating at the end of June 2025. Of those, 2,931 were non-employing, 2,440 had 1 to 4 employees, 779 had 5 to 19 and 90 had 20 to 199. So 869 roofing businesses employ five or more people.
If an agency texts my old roofing quotes, who is responsible under the Spam Act?
You are. The ACMA’s guidance on avoiding spam says that if someone else sends messages on your behalf, the message must still identify you as the business that authorised it. It also says it is up to you to prove consent. Ask any agency how it records consent before it messages your quote file.
Should a roofer pay per lead, per inspection or a monthly fee?
Work out your Inspection Ceiling first: average signed job value, times the share you will spend on acquisition, times your inspection-to-signed rate. At $15,000, 10% and one in three, that is $500. A monthly fee is cheaper if it reliably produces more inspections than the fee divided by that ceiling. Otherwise a per-result model carries less risk.
Do any Australian agencies work only with roofers?
Of the six Australian agencies on this list besides LeadsNow, only Roofer Rise presents itself as roofing-only. It takes one company per area across 21 listed areas. The others serve several trades or industries and have a dedicated roofing page.
