The right lead generation agency for an Australian life coach books only as many discovery calls as you have room to turn into clients. The ICF puts the average Oceania coach at 13.8 active clients; on six-month programmes that means about 2.3 new clients and 9 held calls a month at a 25% close rate. We found fewer than three Australian agencies with life-coach evidence, so this is an unranked buyer’s guide.
- The shortlist (unranked): LeadsNow, Square Meters Digital, Natural Therapy Marketing. We publish this guide and list ourselves first; read that as our interest, not a score.
- The honest gap: no Australian agency we checked publishes a life-coach case study or a cost per booked discovery call. Two show life coaches on their own sites; neither names a life-coach client.
- The decision rule: the Capacity Count. Active clients you can hold ÷ programme length in months ÷ close rate = held discovery calls you need each month.
- The market figure: the 2023 ICF Global Coaching Study reports an average fee of US$259 per one-hour session and 13.8 active clients for Oceania coaches, across all coaching types.
- The compliance line: the ACMA says you need consent from each person you email or text, even when an agency sends the messages for you.
Why this is a buyer’s guide, not a ranking
Disclosure first. LeadsNow, a pay-per-result AI lead generation and appointment-setting agency in Melbourne, wrote this guide and appears in it. On 3 October 2026 we looked for Australian agencies whose own websites show work for life coaches: a life-coaching page, a named life-coach client, or life coaches listed as a market they serve. Two qualified, and only on the last test. Ranking three entries when one is ours would be an advert, so we compare them instead and give you the tests to run on anyone else you find.
Agencies we checked and left out: Munro Agency has a lead generation page for coaches, but its contact page lists offices in Glasgow, London, Edinburgh and Tiree and nothing in Australia. Think Orion’s coaching page names life coaches, but its contact page gives a Singapore address. Hedgehog Marketing’s homepage describes Australia-wide consulting and training for marketing teams of up to five people rather than a coaching specialism. No agency paid to be included or excluded.
Life coaches in Australia sell in four ways: a free discovery or clarity call, an application followed by a call, a workshop or event that feeds a programme, or a membership or group programme. We judged each option on five questions, weighted for that sale:
- Is the unit of result a held call or a client (30%)?
- Does its own site show life-coaching work (25%)?
- Does it fit your sales motion (20%)?
- Does it work the call after it is booked (15%)?
- Does it have a clear answer on Spam Act consent (10%)?
How it works
How an Australian life coach should size an agency brief
Count your capacity
Divide the active clients you can hold by your programme length in months. That is the new clients you need each month.
Convert to held calls
Divide new clients needed by your close rate. That is your Capacity Count of held discovery calls.
Match motion and consent
Confirm the agency runs your sales motion and holds Spam Act consent for every email and text.
Buy calls to the count
Pay for held calls up to your Capacity Count, not for a package minimum above it.

The Capacity Count: how many discovery calls a life coach can actually use
The Capacity Count is the number of held discovery calls an Australian life coach needs each month to stay full, and no more: active clients ÷ programme length in months gives new clients needed per month, and new clients ÷ close rate gives held calls needed. Buying calls above that number buys clients you have no room to coach.
The client load comes from the 2023 ICF Global Coaching Study executive summary: an average of 13.8 active clients per Oceania coach, from 2022 data. It covers every coaching type, not only life coaches, so replace it with your own number.
| Programme length | New clients needed a month | Held calls at 15% close | At 25% close | At 35% close |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 3 months | 4.6 | 30.7 | 18.4 | 13.1 |
| 6 months | 2.3 | 15.3 | 9.2 | 6.6 |
| 12 months | 1.15 | 7.7 | 4.6 | 3.3 |
Every row assumes 13.8 active clients. The programme lengths and the 15%, 25% and 35% close rates are assumptions for you to replace, not measured figures. Three consequences follow. A coach on 12-month programmes who closes a third of calls needs about three held calls a month, which a referral network may already supply. A coach on 3-month programmes needs four times as many, which is where outside help starts to pay. And an agency whose minimum package delivers 40 calls a month is selling a 6-month coach more than four times the 9 calls the Capacity Count says they can use.

The Australian agencies we could verify for life coaches
LeadsNow (we publish this guide)
Best for: life coaches whose Capacity Count is above about ten calls a month and who already get enquiries that go cold before a call is booked.
AI voice, SMS, email and chat agents reply to new enquiries and applications, qualify them on goals, timing and budget, and book discovery calls into your calendar with reminders and reschedules. Since 2017 the system has produced 50,769+ AI-booked sales appointments and 1M+ leads, with 24 filmed client case studies and a 4.6 rating from 43 Google reviews. Appointment show rate varies by offer and reminder cadence, up to 93% on our best-performing accounts. Pricing is pay-per-result with no retainers: $50–$750 per appointment and/or a 5–25% sales commission, depending on volume, the work required, the type of business and lead, which part (or all) of the sales funnel we run, and where the gaps are. Our coaching page describes the service.
Where it is the wrong choice: we publish no life-coach-specific result, and we do not build websites, brands or content. If your Capacity Count is three or four calls a month, a per-appointment fee buys little you could not do yourself.
Square Meters Digital
Best for: coaches who sit near health and wellness and want their marketing reviewed for regulatory risk.
A healthcare and wellness marketing agency that describes itself as a “Healthcare Marketing Agency for Australian Practices” and lists Australian and US phone numbers. Its wellness marketing page names the life coach among the practitioners it builds strategies for, and says every ad, post and landing page is reviewed by compliance-trained experts against AHPRA, FDA and MHRA standards (its claim). Services: web design, SEO, social media, branding and advertising. No named life-coach client; pricing not published.
Natural Therapy Marketing
Best for: new life coaches whose website, not their traffic, is the reason enquiries don’t arrive.
A Squarespace web designer for holistic practitioners that says it brings “UK and Australian expertise” and runs separate Australian and UK web-design services. Its story page lists counsellors, psychologists and life coaches among the practitioners it markets, and its homepage lists payment options and build timelines of 2–6 weeks depending on the package. Its listed services are Squarespace web design, graphic design, brand messaging and SEO copy support. We found no published price.
How the three compare side by side
| Option | Australian presence | Life-coach evidence on its own site | Pricing model | Channels |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| LeadsNow | Melbourne VIC | Coaching service page; no life-coach result published | Pay-per-result per appointment and/or sales commission; range and factors above | AI voice, SMS, email, chat; appointment setting |
| Square Meters Digital | “Australian Practices”; AU and US phone numbers | Life coach named in practitioner list | Not published | Web, SEO, social, branding, ads |
| Natural Therapy Marketing | Australian web-design service (also UK) | Life coaches named in practitioner list | Not published; payment options offered | Squarespace sites, branding, SEO support |

What to ask a lead generation agency before you sign, as an Australian life coach
- How many held calls a month is your minimum? Compare it with your Capacity Count. Above it, you pay for calls you cannot convert into clients you can serve.
- Which of my four sales motions do you run? A discovery-call funnel, an application funnel, a workshop and a group-programme launch each need different work. Ask for an example of the one you use.
- What is a result? A lead, a booked call, a held call or a signed client. For a coach with a small Capacity Count, only held calls and clients are worth paying for.
- Whose consent covers your emails and texts? The ACMA’s guidance on avoiding spam says you must have consent from each recipient even if someone else sends the messages, and every message must identify you and make it easy to unsubscribe.
- What happens to people who enquire but can’t pay yet? Our note on coaching leads who can’t afford it covers the qualifying questions to agree with any agency.
If you sell a high-ticket programme, our ranking of agencies for high-ticket coaches in Australia covers a wider field.
Questions Australian life coaches ask about lead generation agencies
How many discovery calls a month does a life coach in Australia need?
Use the Capacity Count: active clients divided by programme length in months, divided by your close rate. With the ICF’s Oceania average of 13.8 active clients, a six-month programme and a 25% close rate, that is about 9 held calls a month. On 12-month programmes at a 35% close rate it falls to about 3.
How much do coaches charge per session in Australia?
The 2023 ICF Global Coaching Study executive summary reports an average fee of US$259 per one-hour session for Oceania coaches in 2022, and average annual coaching revenue of US$58,800. Those figures cover all coaching types, including executive coaching, and are in US dollars.
Can an agency email or text my enquiries for me?
Yes, but the consent obligation stays with your business. The ACMA says that even if someone else sends your marketing messages, you must still have consent from each person who receives them. This is general information, not legal advice.
Should a life coach hire a web designer or a lead generation agency first?
Hire the web designer first if people visit your site and do not enquire. Hire lead generation first if enquiries arrive but few become held discovery calls. If you have neither visitors nor enquiries, fix the offer and the referral sources before paying either.
Why is this a buyer’s guide and not a ranked list?
We found only two Australian agencies, besides ourselves, whose own sites list life coaches as a market, and neither names a life-coach client. Ranking three entries when we are one of them would not be a fair comparison, so we compared them and published the tests instead.
