Lead generation for a coaching or professional certification school is the work of filling admissions calls for each cohort. In this page’s model, a 24-seat online cohort drawing students from Australia, the UK and the US needs 96 admissions calls at a 25% call-to-enrolment rate, and an admissions desk working office hours in any one of those countries has zero calling hours in November for one of the other two.
- Who it is for: coach training schools, ICF-aligned programs and professional certification providers selling to individuals, usually through an admissions call.
- The unit that matters: cost per admissions call booked and held, by country, not cost per lead.
- The Three-Clock finding: a London desk working 09:00–17:00 overlaps Sydney’s weekday calling window for 0 hours; a Sydney desk overlaps UK business hours for 0 hours; a New York desk overlaps Sydney for 0 hours.
- What students are buying towards: the ICF’s ACC credential asks for 60+ hours of coaching education and 100+ hours of coaching experience, so admissions calls are about hours, cohorts and payment plans.
- Published reference points: Animas, a UK school, publishes a £6,995 diploma with a £995 deposit and groups of up to 15; iPEC publishes US$9,995 for its Coach Training Program.
Who lead generation for coaching and certification schools is for
This page is the hub for schools that sell a credential-bearing program to individual students: coach training schools, ICF-aligned diplomas, and professional certifications sold online to an international audience. It is not for coaches selling coaching; those are covered by our coaches and consultants page.
The buyer is a would-be coach comparing schools on hours, accreditation, format and payment. The International Coaching Federation sets the target many of them are working towards: its ACC credential requires 60+ hours of coaching education on the Portfolio Path, 100+ hours of coaching experience (75 paid) with 8+ clients, 10 hours of mentor coaching, a recorded coaching session, and a passing score on the ACC exam. A school that cannot answer “how many of those hours does your program cover?” in the first five minutes of an admissions call loses the call. The quotable version: a certification school sells hours, a cohort date and a payment plan, and the admissions call is where all three are confirmed.
How it works
How an international coaching school fills a cohort
Split seats by country
Estimate how many students in the cohort will come from each country you recruit in.
Count admissions calls
Divide each country’s seats by your call-to-enrolment rate to get the calls you need.
Map calling windows
Check each country’s legal or policy calling window against your desk’s working hours.
Cover the gaps
Add a second window, a contractor or an asynchronous first touch for countries your desk cannot reach live.

How a certification school turns an enquiry into an enrolment
The sales motion is the same in every market: enquiry, then an information session or brochure, then an admissions call, then a deposit, then the cohort start. The published examples show the shape:
- Animas Centre for Coaching (UK): its diploma page lists a £6,995 course fee over 12 months, live virtual delivery, “Max 15 Per Group”, and a £995 deposit to secure a place, with the balance paid in full or in 10 interest-free instalments.
- iPEC (US): its tuition page lists US$9,995 for the Coach Training Program, a US$1,995 three-day Coaching Fundamentals step credited towards it, and financing from US$350 a month, with questions routed to its admissions team.
Two live pages go deeper, and this hub does not repeat them. How to sell a coaching certification covers the admissions call itself and the Three-Week Wall before a cohort starts. How to price a coaching certification covers published tuition across schools and what payment plans do to call volume.

The Three-Clock Cohort: costing admissions calls across Australia, the UK and the US
Take a 24-seat online cohort with 10 US students, 8 UK students and 6 Australian students. The split, the 25% call-to-enrolment rate and the effort figures below are assumptions; replace them with your own. At 25%, the cohort needs 40 US, 32 UK and 24 Australian admissions calls: 96 in total.
The first outbound call to each enquiry has to land inside the lead’s own calling window. Our calling-hours matrix for the US, UK and Australia sets those out with sources: 8am–9pm for US residential numbers under the FCC rule, 9am–8pm on weekdays in Australia under the telemarketing standards, and no statutory window in the UK (we assume the school’s own 9am–8pm policy). In November, after the 2026 clock changes, that gives these overlaps with a desk working 09:00–17:00 local time on weekdays (US figures use Eastern time):
| Desk location | Hours overlapping US (East) leads | Hours overlapping UK leads (9am–8pm policy) | Hours overlapping Australian (Sydney) leads | Calls with no live window (of 96) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| London (GMT) | 4 (13:00–17:00) | 8 | 0 | 24 Australian |
| Sydney (AEDT) | 4 (09:00–13:00 Sydney) | 0 | 8 | 32 UK |
| New York (EST) | 8 | 6 (09:00–15:00 New York) | 0 | 24 Australian |
How the London row works: Sydney is 11 hours ahead of London in November, so Sydney’s 9am–8pm weekday window is 22:00–09:00 in London, and it never touches a 09:00–17:00 desk. US Eastern is 5 hours behind, so 8am there is 13:00 in London, leaving 4 hours. The quotable version: an international coaching school with one admissions desk has at least one country whose enquiries it can never call live during office hours.
What one admissions call costs to book in-house, by coverage model
Cost per admissions call booked = desk hours spent per booked call × loaded hourly cost. Neither input has a credible public benchmark, so both are assumptions: 1, 2 or 3 desk hours per booked call (dialling, messaging, no-answers and rebooking), at US$35 an hour loaded.
| Desk hours per booked call (assumption) | Cost per admissions call booked | 96 calls for one cohort | Calls a single desk cannot reach live |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | US$35 | US$3,360 | 24-32, depending on desk location |
| 2 | US$70 | US$6,720 | 24-32 |
| 3 | US$105 | US$10,080 | 24-32 |
Worked example, middle row: 96 × 2 hours × US$35 = US$6,720 for the cohort. Against Animas’s £6,995 or iPEC’s US$9,995 per student, the cost is small; the bigger loss is in the last column. A London desk has three options for its 24 Australian calls: an evening shift from 22:00, a contractor in Australia, or an asynchronous first touch (SMS or email with a self-booking link) that the student answers in their own morning. Each adds cost or slows the first contact.
| If your school… | Then |
|---|---|
| Draws most enquiries from one country | Run admissions in-house in that time zone; use asynchronous first touch for the rest |
| Has a second country above about a quarter of enquiries (our rule of thumb) | Staff a second window or a contractor there, or hand first contact to a service that covers it |
| Runs three or more cohorts a year across all three countries | Price a follow-the-sun option against the in-house table above |
| Has hundreds of past enquiries and info-session attendees never called | Work that list before buying new leads; see what a coaching client costs to acquire |
If we can’t make you money, we don’t deserve yours.

How LeadsNow runs lead generation for coaching and certification schools
LeadsNow is a pay-per-result AI lead generation and appointment-setting agency headquartered in Melbourne, Australia. For a certification school, AI voice, SMS, email and chat agents contact each enquiry inside its own country’s window, answer the hours, cohort-date and payment-plan questions your admissions team defines, and book the admissions call with reminders. Your team runs the call and takes the deposit.
- Record: 50,769+ AI-booked sales appointments since 2017 and 1M+ leads generated; 24 filmed client case studies; 4.6 rating from 43 Google reviews. Online education and program clients include Foundr and SheSells.online. We have no published case study for a certification school.
- Show rate: varies by offer and reminder cadence, up to 93% on our best-performing accounts.
- Pricing: $50-$750 per appointment and/or 5-25% sales commission, depending on volume, the work required, the type of business and lead, which part (or all) of the sales funnel we run, and where the gaps are. No retainers.
- Lift: the LeadsNow methodology page defines our 7x average sales lift and discloses that the median is closer to 4x; the average is not typical.
When we are the wrong choice: if your school takes US federal student aid, per-appointment fees for recruiting raise a compliance question first; if you need ads, a website or a curriculum, we do none of them.
Where to go next: the coaching and certification cluster
- Choosing an agency: lead generation agencies for US certification academies and for Australian certification academies.
- Coaches rather than schools: lead generation for coaches in the US, for business coaches in Australia, and the rankings for high-ticket coaches in Australia, business coaches in Australia and executive coaches in the US.
Questions coaching and certification schools ask about lead generation
What does an ICF ACC credential require?
According to the ICF’s ACC credential page, the Portfolio Path asks for 60+ hours of coaching education, 100+ hours of coaching experience (75 paid) with 8+ clients, 10 hours of mentor coaching with a PCC or MCC coach (or an ACC coach who has renewed at least once), one recorded coaching session with transcript, and a passing score on the ACC exam. Level 1 and Level 2 programs include the education and mentor coaching.
How should an international cohort split its admissions calls by country?
Divide each country’s seats by your call-to-enrolment rate. A 24-seat cohort split 10 US, 8 UK and 6 Australian students at an assumed 25% needs 40, 32 and 24 held admissions calls, and each country’s calls have to land inside that country’s own calling window.
Where should our admissions team sit if students come from Australia, the UK and the US?
No single location covers all three. In November a 09:00–17:00 desk in London, Sydney or New York has zero calling hours for one of the other two countries (by law for Australia, by the school’s own 9am–8pm policy for the UK), so plan a second window or an asynchronous first touch.
What deposit do coaching schools take?
It varies and is usually published. Animas takes a £995 deposit on a £6,995 diploma, with the balance in full or in 10 interest-free instalments. Confirm the deposit on the admissions call.
Is lead generation for a certification school different from a coaching practice?
Yes. A school fills a cohort by a start date and answers questions about hours and accreditation; a coach fills a calendar with clients. The cohort date makes timing, and time zones, matter more.
