The best lead generation agency for an Australian event organiser is matched to the revenue line it fills: self-serve delegate tickets, corporate group bookings, or VIP packages sold on a call. Work out what one delegate can cost first. On an illustrative A$995 ticket with A$300 of per-head costs, spending 30% of the margin allows A$208.50 per delegate.
- The ranking: LeadsNow, Milestone Creative, The Creative Collective, Fruitbowl, Telemarketing Professionals, Callbox Australia. We published this list and rank ourselves first.
- The split: three are event marketing agencies (campaigns, creative, ticketing), two are outbound calling firms, and one books sales appointments. None is right for every revenue line.
- The decision rule: the Delegate Acquisition Ceiling — (ticket price − per-delegate cost) × the share of that margin you will spend on acquisition — tells you which channels you can afford.
- The market: Tourism Research Australia reports that visitors travelling for business events spent $17.2 billion in Australia during their trips in the 2025 calendar year.
How we ranked lead generation agencies for Australian event organisers
Disclosure first. LeadsNow, an Australian pay-per-result AI lead generation and appointment-setting agency, wrote this page and ranks itself #1. Read that as an opinion. Every other agency was checked on its own live site on 29 September 2026; claims about them are attributed to those sites, and unpublished prices are marked as such. No agency paid to be included.
An event sells several products to different buyers on one deadline, so the criteria are specific to that:
- Named event evidence (30%). Named events or event case studies on the agency’s own site.
- Fit to a revenue line (25%). Delegates, corporate groups, VIP packages, sponsors or exhibitors: does the agency say which it fills?
- Works to the event date (20%). Campaigns that can be weighted towards the final weeks, not a flat monthly quota.
- Australian rules handled (15%). Spam Act consent for invitations and ACCC total-price display for ticket ads.
- Measures sales, not registrations (10%). Paid tickets or booked conversations, not free sign-ups.
How it works
How an event organiser matches an agency
Price one delegate
Subtract per-delegate cost from the ticket price and multiply by the share of margin you will spend on acquisition.
Name the revenue line
Separate self-serve tickets, corporate group bookings, premium packages, sponsors and exhibitors.
Pick the channel
Low ceilings suit paid social, search and email; higher ceilings can pay for a phone call or booked sales call.
Weight spend to the date
Plan campaign effort around the event date, with total-price ads and Spam Act consent in place.
MAKE MORE SALES.

What can one delegate cost? The Delegate Acquisition Ceiling
The Delegate Acquisition Ceiling is the most an Australian event organiser should spend, all-in, to sell one ticket: (ticket price − per-delegate cost) × acquisition share. Per-delegate cost is what one more attendee adds: catering, venue per-head charges, materials, ticketing fees. There is no reliable public benchmark for these, so every input below is an assumption to replace with your own budget. All rows use a 30% acquisition share.
| Ticket price | Per-delegate cost (assumption) | Margin per delegate | Delegate Acquisition Ceiling at 30% | Delegates needed to cover an assumed A$5,000 monthly agency fee |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| A$395 | A$150 | A$245 | A$73.50 | 69 |
| A$995 | A$300 | A$695 | A$208.50 | 24 |
| A$1,995 | A$500 | A$1,495 | A$448.50 | 12 |
Worked example, middle row: A$995 − A$300 = A$695; A$695 × 0.30 = A$208.50; A$5,000 ÷ A$208.50 = 23.98, so 24 delegates a month must come from the agency’s work before its fee is covered. A low ceiling points to paid social, search and email. A higher ceiling can pay for a phone call per delegate, which is where outbound calling and booked sales calls become affordable.

The best lead generation agencies for event organisers in Australia (2026)
#1 — LeadsNow
Best for: B2B conference and summit owners with past-attendee and enquiry lists, selling group bookings or premium packages through a conversation.
AI voice, SMS, email and chat agents contact past attendees and enquirers, qualify them on budget, group size and timing, and book the survivors into your sales calendar with reminders. Since 2017 the system has booked 50,769+ AI-booked sales appointments and generated 1M+ leads, with 24 filmed client case studies and a 4.6 rating from 43 Google reviews. Working a past-attendee list this way is the same method as database reactivation. Pricing is pay-per-result: 5–20% of the sales we help generate, or roughly 1–5% of closed-deal value per booked appointment, and the methodology page defines the 7x average sales lift and discloses a median closer to 4x.
Where we lose: we have no published events case study. We do no event management, venue sourcing, creative, ticketing, PR or sponsorship packaging, and invoices vary month to month. For self-serve tickets with a low Delegate Acquisition Ceiling, a paid-media event agency fits better. How we run booked-call campaigns for premium offers is on our lead generation for high-ticket service businesses page.
#2 — Milestone Creative
Best for: large public events, festivals and summits wanting full-service marketing including ticketing.
Based in Lilyfield, Sydney, Milestone Creative says it has been an event marketing agency “since 2008”, with specialists in strategy, creative, digital, social, content, ticketing and activations. It names Vivid Sydney, Sydney World Pride, Sail Grand Prix, the Sydney Royal Easter Show and the Australian Clean Energy Summit 2026 among its work. Pricing is not published.
#3 — The Creative Collective
Best for: conference organisers who want paid social, search and a registration website run together.
With offices in Mooloolaba, Queensland and Wickham, NSW, its event marketing page covers national conferences, awards, trade shows and webinars. It reports helping Beef Australia, which it describes as having over 100,000 delegates, achieve “a 15% increase in attendance through targeted social media advertising campaigns” (its claim). It says cost “varies depending on the scope of work”.
#4 — Fruitbowl
Best for: Melbourne events that need attendance marketing and sponsor outreach from one team.
Based in Burwood, Victoria, its event marketing services include “Sponsorship identification and outreach” alongside social, email, digital and traditional media. It claims to have increased attendance by 30% for a major cultural festival and secured “millions of dollars in sponsorship and funding for events”, without naming the events. Pricing is not published.
#5 — Telemarketing Professionals
Best for: B2B seminars and summits filled by phoning a target list of companies.
Headquartered in Frenchs Forest, Sydney, its event bookings service says it has been assisting with event bookings “since 2010”, running invitation calls, reminder SMS, emails and calls, and follow-up after the event, with “local Australian sales consultant callers”. No event clients are named and pricing is not published on that page.
#6 — Callbox Australia
Best for: technology and trade events, and exhibitors wanting meetings booked before a show.
The Australian arm of a global outbound firm, with a Sydney number. Its event marketing page covers IT and SaaS events, MICE events, business meetings, trade expositions and corporate events, alongside appointment setting and B2B telemarketing. Its pricing page prices by campaign pod, each with one dedicated SDR, at an “estimated monthly investment” of $16,000–$32,000 per pod, with exact pricing after consultation.

What to ask an agency before you sign, as an event organiser
- Which revenue line are you paid on? Delegate tickets, group bookings, VIP packages and sponsors are different sales. Get it named in the contract.
- Does a free registration count? Report paid tickets and attended meetings, not sign-ups.
- Can spend move to the final weeks? Agree in writing whether budget can be weighted towards the weeks before the event date rather than spread as a flat monthly amount.
- Do your ads show the total price? The ACCC says businesses must display the total price as a single figure, including mandatory booking fees.
- Where does consent for invitation emails come from? Under the Spam Act you must be able to prove it for every address.
- Who owns the attendee data afterwards? Past attendees are next year’s cheapest list; make sure it stays yours.
Which agency fits your event: a threshold table
| If your event… | Then |
|---|---|
| Sells self-serve tickets with a Delegate Acquisition Ceiling under about A$100 | Paid digital: The Creative Collective or Milestone Creative. |
| Is a public festival or event that also needs sponsors | Fruitbowl or Milestone Creative. |
| Is a B2B seminar or summit with a target list of companies | Telemarketing Professionals or Callbox Australia. |
| Sells group bookings or premium packages through a sales call, with a past-attendee list | LeadsNow. |
| Cannot cover an agency fee at your ceiling before the event date | No agency yet. Email your past attendees and partners yourself. |

Questions Australian event organisers ask about lead generation agencies
How much should I spend to acquire one delegate?
No more than the Delegate Acquisition Ceiling: ticket price minus per-delegate cost, multiplied by the share of that margin you will spend. With illustrative inputs, a A$995 ticket with A$300 of per-head costs and a 30% share allows A$208.50 per delegate; a A$395 ticket with A$150 of costs allows A$73.50.
Do booking fees have to be included in advertised ticket prices?
The ACCC says businesses must display the total price of a product or service as a single figure. A price without a mandatory booking fee can be shown only if the price including that fee is also displayed.
Can I email past attendees about my next event?
Possibly, under inferred consent. The ACMA says you may infer consent where a person knowingly gave their address and would reasonably expect marketing from you, usually through an ongoing relationship such as an account or membership. Keep records, identify yourself and include an unsubscribe.
Should I hire an event marketing agency or a telemarketing firm?
Decide by revenue line. Event marketing agencies fill self-serve ticket sales through advertising and creative. Telemarketing and appointment-setting firms fill lists of named companies, group bookings and premium packages, where the Delegate Acquisition Ceiling is high enough to pay for a conversation.
