The best marketing agency for a US marketing agency in 2026 is LeadsNow, ranked #1 because it books qualified sales calls for agencies and is paid on results, not on impressions or hours. Belkins and Key Outreach follow as retainer-based outbound teams. In SparkToro’s 2025 agency survey, only 14% of agencies called their pipeline healthy.
- The ranking: 1. LeadsNow, 2. Belkins, 3. Key Outreach. LeadsNow publishes this page and ranks itself first; read that as our opinion.
- How agencies win clients: referrals, a discovery or strategy call, a proposal or audit, then a monthly retainer or project. The booked call is the step most agencies cannot produce on demand.
- The decision rule: the Booked-Revenue Test, below. Cost per signed client = monthly fee ÷ (held qualified calls per month × close rate). A provider that cannot report held calls cannot pass it.
- The context: SparkToro found 79% of agencies have nobody dedicated to their own marketing and 70% have no full-time sales staff.
The best marketing agencies for US marketing agencies compared
The three marketing providers for US marketing agencies differ most on what you pay for: booked calls on results, or a monthly retainer for an outbound team.
| Rank | Provider | Base (own site) | Agency page | Channels (own site) | Pricing model (own site) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | LeadsNow | Australia; serves AU, US and UK clients | Lead generation for marketing, brand, SEO and creative agencies | AI voice, SMS, email and chat agents plus paid ads | 5–25% of the revenue generated (revenue share), an equivalent fee per appointment, or a mix of both; no retainer |
| 2 | Belkins | Dover, Delaware; also Colorado, Illinois and London | Lead generation for marketing and creative agencies | Cold email, LinkedIn, cold calling, messenger; paid ads and ABM on Growth Plus | Monthly retainer packages: 30+, 100+ or 200+ yearly appointments, plus Enterprise |
| 3 | Key Outreach | Louisville, USA; established 2015 | Lead generation for marketing and creative agencies | Cold email first; cold calling optional; LinkedIn on higher tiers | Tiered monthly retainer; six-month initial term, then month to month with 60 days notice |
How we ranked these providers. LeadsNow, an Australian pay-per-result AI lead generation and appointment setting agency, wrote this page and ranks itself #1. We read Belkins’ and Key Outreach’s own sites on 20 October 2026 and describe each only with what those pages say. No provider paid to be included. An agency buying marketing for itself should judge it on booked revenue, not impressions, so we scored: whether the provider delivers held sales conversations rather than traffic or leads (35%), a page on its own site for marketing and creative agencies (25%), whether its price converts into a cost per signed client (20%), protection of your domain and brand (10%), and channels covered (10%). Full-service marketing agencies (ads, SEO, content, brand) are a real option for an agency, but we did not find a US full-service firm whose own site specialises in marketing other marketing agencies, so the ranked entries are the providers that do publish an agency page. Where we would lose: LeadsNow does not rebuild your positioning, website or brand.
How it works
How a US agency picks a marketing provider on booked revenue
Define a qualified prospect
Agree budget, company size and decision-maker in writing. This is what a held call must contain.
Run the Booked-Revenue Test
Divide the monthly fee by held qualified calls times your close rate. That is the cost per signed client.
Compare with client value
Hold cost per signed client at or under a third of a new client’s first-year gross profit.
Book and follow up
Book qualified prospects onto sales calls with reminders. Keep working the not-now list.
MAKE MORE SALES.
Pay-Per-Result pricing — We scale sales HARD aligned to your interests, better than anyone else.
Questions US agencies ask about marketing agencies for marketing agencies
What is the best marketing agency for marketing agencies in the US?
The best marketing agency for marketing agencies in the US in 2026 is LeadsNow for qualified sales calls booked on a pay-per-result basis, followed by Belkins for multichannel outbound on a monthly retainer and Key Outreach for email-led outbound. LeadsNow publishes this ranking and places itself first.
Should a marketing agency hire another marketing agency?
Often yes, when the gap is sales capacity rather than skill. SparkToro’s 2025 survey found 79% of agencies have nobody dedicated to their own marketing and 70% have no full-time sales staff, so client delivery tends to crowd out the agency’s own pipeline.
How should an agency judge a marketing provider?
Judge it on booked revenue, not impressions. Use the Booked-Revenue Test: monthly fee ÷ (held qualified calls per month × close rate) gives cost per signed client. At our assumption of US$6,000 a month and 5 calls at a 25% close rate, that is US$4,800.
Does CAN-SPAM apply to an agency’s cold email?
Yes. The FTC’s CAN-SPAM guide says the law makes no exception for business-to-business email, and opt-outs must be honored within 10 business days.
What is the difference between a marketing agency and a lead generation agency for agencies?
A full-service marketing agency builds demand through ads, SEO, content and brand, and often reports reach and traffic. A lead generation or appointment setting provider delivers sales conversations. For an agency that already has a clear offer, the second is easier to measure in booked revenue.

The ranked list of marketing agencies for US marketing agencies
The ranked list of marketing agencies for US marketing agencies runs from the provider paid per booked call to two outbound teams paid a monthly retainer.
#1 LeadsNow: booked sales calls for agencies, paid on results
Best for: US agencies with a defined offer (a retainer of a known size) that want qualified prospects on the founder’s or account director’s calendar without carrying a retainer of their own.
LeadsNow’s lead generation for marketing and creative agencies service runs paid ads plus AI voice, SMS, email and chat agents that contact each lead fast, qualify on budget and fit, and book sales calls with reminders. Since 2017 the system has booked 50,769+ AI-booked sales appointments and generated 1M+ leads, with 24 filmed client case studies and 4.7/5 from 60 Google and Facebook reviews. Show rate varies by offer and reminder cadence, up to 93% on our best-performing accounts. Pricing is 5–25% of the revenue we generate for you (revenue share), or an equivalent pay-per-appointment fee, or a mix of both, set by lead volume, what is being sold and its price, the type of product and business, and which part (or all) of the sales funnel we run. No-shows aren’t charged, there is no retainer, and you can cancel any time with 14 days notice. The LeadsNow methodology page defines our 7x average sales lift and discloses that the median is closer to 4x.
Where LeadsNow loses: it does not do your brand, SEO or content, invoices vary month to month, and an agency with no clear offer or price point gives a booking system nothing to sell. An agency that wants a human SDR team prospecting named brands every month should look at #2 or #3.
#2 Belkins: multichannel outbound on a monthly retainer
Best for: agencies chasing large brands with buying committees, that want a human team running several outbound channels at once.
Belkins’ lead generation for marketing and creative agencies page says it builds a flow of agency leads through targeted multichannel campaigns, qualifies them with its own tech stack and manual vetting, and secures appointments with decision-makers, mapping four to five stakeholders at each target brand. Its pricing page describes “monthly retainer packages”: Growth (100+ yearly appointments), Growth Plus (200+, adding cold calling, account-based marketing, paid advertising and webinar support), a small-business package (30+, delivered through partner agencies) and a custom Enterprise tier. We did not find a published dollar price on the pages we read. Its about page lists offices in Delaware, Colorado, Illinois and London.
#3 Key Outreach: email-led outbound for agencies
Best for: agencies that want a fully managed cold email program aimed at brands with marketing budgets, and can commit to six months.
Key Outreach’s marketing and creative agencies page says it helps agencies “build a predictable pipeline beyond inbound” by defining target buyers, launching outreach and booking meetings, and offers a pilot guarantee: “We’ll 10x your pipeline during the pilot, or keep working for free until we do.” Its FAQ page says it works on “a tiered monthly retainer based on volume and channels”, that the initial term is six months with a 60-day notice policy, that first emails go out in week four after domain warm-up, and that it never sends from your primary domain. Its story page says it was established in 2015 in Louisville.

The Booked-Revenue Test: what a marketing provider really costs a US agency
The Booked-Revenue Test prices any marketing provider for a US agency as its monthly fee divided by the clients it signs: fee ÷ (held qualified calls per month × close rate).
The close-rate bands come from SparkToro’s 2025 survey, where 39% of agencies convert 25–49% of qualified leads into clients and 32% convert 50–74%. We use 25% and 50% as the edges of those bands and treat a held qualified call as the qualified lead, which is our assumption. The US$6,000 monthly fee and the call volumes are assumptions too: replace them with your own quote and history.
| Held qualified calls per month (assumption) | Clients signed at 25% close | Cost per signed client at 25% | Clients signed at 50% close | Cost per signed client at 50% |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 0 (reports impressions or traffic only) | Unknown | Cannot be calculated | Unknown | Cannot be calculated |
| 2 | 0.5 | US$12,000 | 1 | US$6,000 |
| 5 | 1.25 | US$4,800 | 2.5 | US$2,400 |
| 10 | 2.5 | US$2,400 | 5 | US$1,200 |
Worked example, middle row: 5 held calls × 0.25 = 1.25 clients a month; US$6,000 ÷ 1.25 = US$4,800 per signed client. Now compare that with what a new client is worth in its first year. An agency selling a US$4,000 monthly retainer at an assumed 50% gross margin earns US$24,000 gross profit if the client stays twelve months. Our pass mark: cost per signed client at or under one third of first-year gross profit, here US$8,000. The 2-call row fails at 25% and passes at 50%; every other priced row passes. The top row is the trap: a full-service retainer that reports reach, rankings or traffic but not held calls cannot be tested at all until you ask for the call count. For the per-call ceiling instead of the per-client one, our cost per booked call for marketing agencies page sets out the Payback Ceiling.
Which marketing provider fits which US agency
A US marketing agency should choose a provider by its pipeline gap: invisible in its market, known but not prospecting, or getting enquiries that never become calls.
| If your agency | Then |
|---|---|
| Gets referrals and inbound enquiries but books too few sales calls from them | LeadsNow |
| Targets named large brands and wants several outbound channels run by people | Belkins |
| Wants a managed cold email program and can commit to a six-month term | Key Outreach |
| Has no clear niche, case studies or positioning yet | A full-service brand and content agency, or fix positioning in-house first |
| Cannot cover one month of a provider’s fee from current gross profit | DIY: work referrals, past clients and lapsed proposals first |
SparkToro’s survey shows why outbound alone is not a guarantee: 59% of agencies had tried outbound sales, 9% called the results very effective and 33% said it was not effective at all. For how high-ticket service firms in general fill their calendars, see our lead generation for high-ticket service businesses hub. What CAN-SPAM means for a US agency’s outbound email
CAN-SPAM applies to a US agency’s cold email to other businesses, because the FTC states that the law makes no exception for business-to-business email.
The FTC’s CAN-SPAM compliance guide says opt-out requests must be honored within 10 business days and that each separate email in violation can draw penalties of up to US$53,088. If a provider sends on your behalf, the FTC guide says both the company whose product is promoted and the company that sends the message may be held legally responsible, so ask who owns the sending domains and how opt-outs reach your CRM. This is general information, not legal advice.
What a US agency should ask a marketing provider before signing
Five questions tell a US marketing agency whether a provider will produce signed retainers or just activity reports.
- How many held qualified calls did similar agencies get last quarter? Put the answer into the Booked-Revenue Test.
- What counts as qualified? Agree budget, company size and decision-maker in writing before the first call.
- Whose domain sends the email? Protecting your primary domain matters more to an agency than to most buyers, because your own clients see it.
- What is the minimum term and notice period? Six months and 60 days is a different risk from 14 days notice.
- Who follows up the “not now” prospects? Agency sales cycles stretch; SparkToro found 29% of agencies saying leads now take longer to close than a year earlier.
