The best appointment setting agencies for consultants in Australia in 2026 are LeadsNow (#1, because AI agents follow up every enquiry and it is paid on results, with no-shows not charged), VentureAscend and LeadCallers. In VentureAscend’s published Queensland advisory-firm campaign, 484 decision-maker conversations produced 27 meetings, and 78% of them showed.
- The ranking: LeadsNow, VentureAscend, LeadCallers. LeadsNow publishes this page and ranks itself first.
- The four gates for a consulting practice: speed to lead, show rate, qualification and pricing model (per appointment, retainer or revenue share).
- The worked count: on VentureAscend’s published advisory campaign and an assumed 25% close rate, one signed engagement takes about 92 decision-maker conversations and 181 dials.
- Inbound or outbound decides the shortlist: LeadCallers calls only leads you send it and does not run cold calling; VentureAscend dials cold lists; LeadsNow works enquiries and your database.
- The consent rule: under the Spam Act 2003 it is up to you, not your setter, to prove consent for marketing emails and SMS.
Best appointment setting agencies for consultants in Australia compared
Three appointment setting agencies suit Australian consultants, and they differ most on speed to lead, show-rate evidence, how a meeting is qualified, and what triggers the invoice. Every cell comes from each agency’s own site, read 15 October 2026.
| # | Agency | Speed to lead | Show rate it publishes | Qualification | Pricing model |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | LeadsNow (Melbourne) | AI agents contact each enquiry as it arrives, by call, SMS, email and DM | Up to 93% on its best-performing accounts; varies by offer and reminder cadence | Against criteria you set before launch | 5–25% of revenue generated, an equivalent fee per appointment, or a mix of both; no-shows aren’t charged; no retainer |
| 2 | VentureAscend (Brisbane) | Cold outbound; first meeting in 9 days on its advisory case study | 78% on the advisory case study; 72 of 96 in its homepage figures | Decision maker or budget holder, verified for budget, authority, need and timeline, confirmed three times | A$1,500–A$4,500 a month plus 15 to 20% of first-year contract value, or A$800–A$2,800 per attended meeting; ex GST |

How it works
How a consulting firm turns conversations into signed engagements
Define the decision maker
Agree the firm size, role and trigger that make a prospect worth a partner’s time. List quality moved the published booking rate more than the script did.
Contact every enquiry fast
Return inbound enquiries quickly and more than once. Cold lists need phone conversations with the decision maker.
Qualify and confirm
Book only meetings that meet the written definition, then confirm them before the day to protect the show rate.
Count conversations per engagement
Divide conversations by attended meetings times your close rate. That number tells you what volume to buy.
MAKE MORE SALES.
Pay-Per-Result pricing — We scale sales HARD aligned to your interests, better than anyone else.
The ranked list: appointment setting agencies for Australian consultants
The ranked list puts LeadsNow first, then two Australian agencies verified on their own sites, each matched to a different kind of consulting pipeline.
#1 – LeadsNow
Best for: consultants and advisory firms whose website, LinkedIn, webinar and referral enquiries arrive faster than partners can return them, and whose past-client and lost-proposal lists are never worked.
LeadsNow is a Melbourne-based, pay-per-result agency. AI agents call, text, email and message each lead, ask the qualifying questions you set, and book discovery calls into your calendar with reminders. Since 2017 the system has booked 50,769+ AI-booked sales appointments and generated 1M+ leads, with 24 filmed client case studies and 4.7/5 from 60 Google and Facebook reviews. Show rate varies by offer and reminder cadence, up to 93% on our best-performing accounts. Pricing is 5–25% of the revenue we generate for you (revenue share), or an equivalent pay-per-appointment fee, or a mix of both, depending on lead volume, what is being sold and its price, the type of business, and which part (or all) of the sales funnel we run. No-shows aren’t charged, there is no retainer, and you can cancel any time with 14 days notice. Our lead generation for consultants page explains the service.
Where we lose: we have no published case study for an Australian consulting firm, and we print no dollar price per meeting. A partner who wants a human setter cold-calling a named account list, with every call recorded for review, is better served by VentureAscend.
#2 – VentureAscend
Best for: accounting, advisory and B2B consulting firms that depend on referrals or introducers and need a phone-first outbound channel into firms of 20 to 200 staff, the segment in its published case study.
VentureAscend is a Brisbane appointment setting team that publishes a full professional services case study. A Queensland accounting and advisory firm of 30 to 50 staff, whose pipeline ran on two introducers until one retired, had two partners call between client work for a quarter and book four meetings. VentureAscend then ran a phone-only campaign from November 2025 to February 2026 on 900 records: 951 dials, 618 connects, 484 decision-maker conversations and 27 meetings, with a 78% show rate. Its own write-up says the first six weeks underperformed because the list was too broad, and that rebuilding the segment around a specific trigger in week seven roughly doubled the booking rate. Pricing is published: a retainer plus 15 to 20% of first-year contract value, or A$800–A$2,800 per attended meeting above about A$50,000 average contract value.
#3 – LeadCallers
Best for: consultants who already generate enquiries from ads, webinars or content and need Australian callers to reach them quickly and book or transfer the interested ones.
LeadCallers is a service of Evolved Contact, which says it has helped businesses increase phone, website and campaign conversions since 2016 and lists Melbourne as its base. You send leads from your marketing or a list; its Australian-based callers call each contact up to six times and deliver a live transfer, callback or booked appointment, with real-time reporting. It runs lead qualifying, appointment setting and lead reinvigorating campaigns, but its FAQ says it does not run cold calling. Its Performance plan is a fixed rate per record called plus a success fee, month to month, with 14 days notice to cancel an auto plan.
Want this done for you? We book qualified sales appointments on a Pay-Per-Result basis — you only pay for calls that actually land in your calendar.
Conversations per engagement: a worked count from a published advisory campaign
A consulting firm needs roughly 92 decision-maker conversations per signed engagement on VentureAscend’s published advisory-campaign rates and an assumed 25% close rate. The first five rows are the agency’s published figures; the close rates are assumptions, because no credible public benchmark exists for Australian consulting close rates.
| Stage | Figure | Rate |
|---|---|---|
| Dials (published) | 951 | – |
| Connects (published) | 618 | 65% of dials |
| Decision-maker conversations (published) | 484 | 78% of connects |
| Meetings booked (published) | 27 | 5.6% of conversations |
| Meetings attended (published 78% show rate) | about 21 | 27 × 0.78 |
| Engagements at an assumed 25% close | about 5.3 | 92 conversations or 181 dials each |
| Engagements at an assumed 35% close | about 7.4 | 66 conversations or 129 dials each |
Worked example: 484 ÷ (27 × 0.78 × 0.25) = 92 conversations per engagement. Substitute your own close rate from your last 20 proposals. Two consulting lessons sit in the case itself: the partners’ own quarter of calling booked four meetings, which told them the problem was time rather than message; and list quality moved the booking rate more than script changes did. The quotable version: for a consulting firm, the number to plan around is conversations per signed engagement, not meetings per month.
Per appointment or retainer: which pricing model fits a consulting practice
A consulting practice should choose the pricing model by engagement value and lead source, because per-appointment billing only pays above a high contract value.
| If your practice… | Pricing model that fits | Start with |
|---|---|---|
| Has enquiries going cold and an unworked past-client or lost-proposal list | Revenue share or fee per appointment, paid on results | LeadsNow |
| Generates steady inbound enquiries and wants Australian callers returning them | Fixed rate per record called plus success fee | LeadCallers |
| Needs cold outbound and sells engagements of A$5,000–A$50,000 | Retainer plus performance share | VentureAscend |
| Sells projects averaging above about A$50,000, with partner capacity to take the meetings | Per attended meeting | VentureAscend |
| Sells engagements under about A$5,000 and wants cold outbound | None of these; VentureAscend’s pricing page says it declines campaigns under A$5,000 contract value | Your own enquiries and referrals first |

How we ranked appointment setting agencies for consultants
The appointment setting agencies on this list were scored on the four gates a consulting pipeline fails at, plus Australian operation.
- Speed to lead (25%). How fast, and how many times, a new enquiry is contacted.
- Show-rate evidence (25%). A published show rate with its denominator.
- Qualification (20%). A written definition of a qualified meeting, agreed before launch.
- Pricing model (20%). Whether the invoice follows attended meetings or revenue rather than setter hours.
- Australian operation (10%). Australian base and callers.
Disclosure: LeadsNow published this list and ranks itself #1; our weaknesses are in our entry. VentureAscend and LeadCallers are real Australian companies, checked on their own live sites on 15 October 2026 and described only with what those sites say. No agency paid to be included. Our AI appointment setting page explains how an AI setter qualifies and books.
Australian consent rules when a setter follows up your enquiries
Australian consultants remain responsible for consent when an appointment setter emails, texts or calls on their behalf, under the Spam Act 2003 and the Do Not Call Register Act 2006.
- Messages. ACMA says that even if someone else sends your marketing messages, you must still have consent from each recipient, and that under the Spam Act it is up to you to prove it. Keep a record of who gave consent, when and how.
- Calls. The Do Not Call Register says both the telemarketer and the business requiring the call to be made must comply with the Act.
- Enquiries are the easy case. A prospect who filled in your form asked to be contacted; a purchased list is where consent and register washing need checking first.
This is general information, not legal advice.
Questions consultants ask about appointment setting agencies in Australia
Australian consultants often ask five questions before hiring an appointment setting agency; each answer below uses only the published figures on this page.
What is the best appointment setting agency for consultants in Australia?
For 2026 we rank LeadsNow first, then VentureAscend and LeadCallers. LeadsNow published this list. Choose by lead source: LeadsNow for unworked enquiries and databases, VentureAscend for cold phone outbound to business decision makers, and LeadCallers for Australian callers returning inbound leads.
How many meetings can an appointment setter book for a consulting firm?
VentureAscend’s published advisory campaign booked 27 meetings in four months from 484 decision-maker conversations, with a 78% show rate. That is about 21 attended meetings, or roughly five a month. Your number depends on list quality, offer and close rate.
Should a consultant pay per appointment or a retainer?
Per attended appointment suits projects averaging above about A$50,000, which is where VentureAscend offers A$800–A$2,800 per attended meeting. Below that, a retainer plus performance share or a revenue share fits better, and VentureAscend’s pricing page says it declines campaigns under A$5,000 contract value.
Can an appointment setter text my enquiries for me?
Yes, with consent, and the consent is yours to prove. ACMA’s guidance on avoiding spam says that even if someone else sends your marketing messages, you must have consent from each recipient, and each message must identify you and offer an easy unsubscribe.
How fast should a consulting enquiry be followed up?
As close to immediately as you can staff it. LeadCallers calls each lead up to six times, and LeadsNow’s AI agents contact enquiries as they arrive. Measure your own enquiry-to-first-contact time before comparing agencies.
