At a glance: Ashley Carucci runs FITA U, a semi-private personal training facility in Paddington, Brisbane — a high-ticket fitness business built mainly on six-on-one training. In about four months of working with the LeadsNow team, she got the most leads she had ever received from any marketing agency — “by a long, long way” — to the point where there were days she asked for the campaigns to be turned off because she couldn’t keep up. With her staff recruitment process fixed and her sales process systemised, she took a two-week holiday — her first real holiday in three and a half years — and the gym ran fine without her. Every claim on this page comes straight from her filmed testimonial below.

Watch Ash tell it herself
A note on the era: this campaign was delivered by the LeadsNow team under its fitness brand, More Gym Members, and the video was filmed in 2019. It predates the AI sales agents LeadsNow runs today — what you see here is the team’s earlier high-ticket fitness work: lead generation and the systems to handle it, exactly as described on camera.
Where Ash was before
FITA U is a semi-private personal training facility in Paddington, Brisbane, focused mainly on six-on-one training with some group training as well. At the time of filming, the gym had been in its current space for just on 12 months — and Ash was carrying it. She hadn’t taken a serious holiday of more than 10 days in three and a half years, and originally she didn’t really have a team she could hand things to.
“Well, I haven’t taken a serious holiday over 10 days in three and a half years.”
— Ashley Carucci, FITA U
As she says on camera, the odd 7 or 10 days off maybe once every 12 months was the most she’d managed — the pattern most owner-operators will recognise: the business runs because you’re standing in it.
The lead flow: “there was days where I was like, turn it off”
Ash had worked with marketing agencies before. Her comparison, in her own words, isn’t close.
“By a long, long, long, long way, I’ve gotten the most amount of leads that I’ve ever gotten with any marketing agency.”
— Ashley Carucci, FITA U
The volume got to the point where the constraint wasn’t the campaigns — it was her capacity to keep up with them.
“There was days where I was like, turn it off … I was getting anxiety of not being able to keep up. So yeah, definitely, a lot of leads.”
— Ashley Carucci, FITA U
That’s the honest shape of this story: lead generation that outran the business’s ability to absorb it — which is exactly why the rest of the engagement mattered.
The systems that made the leads usable
More enquiries only help if the business behind them can hire, sell and deliver. Over roughly four months of working together, two other things got fixed alongside the lead flow.
Hiring. Ash didn’t really have a team originally. The engagement gave her a structured recruitment and selection process for staff — one she describes as hers to keep and reuse.
“You’ve helped me a lot with, I guess, the recruitment selection process for staff … I’ve got that, I guess, forever, which is really good and I can use it again. And I know that it’s got structure.”
— Ashley Carucci, FITA U
Selling. The sales side was rebuilt through the monthly webinars the team runs and the phone-script templates and systems that came with them.
“Through the webinars, like the monthly webinars that you guys do, and also through the templates and systems for the phone script, that’s really helped to change things and asking the right questions and getting people more emotionally charged on the phone so that they’re wanting to … buy into what your vision is and how you can help them.”
— Ashley Carucci, FITA U
The result: a two-week holiday, and a gym that ran without her
Ash was worried she wouldn’t be able to leave — that the team wasn’t going to cope. Then she went on a two-week holiday, came back, and the gym hadn’t fallen apart. Her first real holiday since the gym started. That’s what a working hiring process and a systemised sales process buy an owner: the business stops depending on her being physically in it.
Ash’s approved summary of the engagement:
“FAR MORE leads than anyone else — I’ve been able to take my first holiday in 3.5 years!”
— Ashley Carucci (approved client quote)
Asked straight out whether the company was any good to work with, her answer was about trust as much as results.
“There’s always a really good open line of communication there … there’s 100% honesty and integrity there. You guys are great, a massive help.”
— Ashley Carucci, FITA U
Frequently asked questions
Are these results typical?
No — and no honest agency claims otherwise. Ash’s story has no revenue figures in it because none were stated on camera, and we won’t invent them. What her testimonial shows is a specific, verifiable pattern: lead volume beyond anything a previous agency had delivered (“by a long, long way”), demand strong enough that she asked to pause it, and — because hiring and sales got systemised at the same time — an owner who could finally step out of the building for two weeks without the business wobbling.
Why does an established gym still need lead generation?
Because the market is crowded and the owner’s time isn’t scalable. IBISWorld’s Gym & Fitness Centre Operation in Australia report counts 8,078 businesses in the industry as of 2025, competing in a market IBISWorld sizes at $3.7 billion in 2026. In a field that dense, a gym that relies on walk-ins and word of mouth is competing passively against thousands of operators — and the owner ends up doing what Ash did for three and a half years: standing in the business every day to keep it fed. A predictable lead pipeline is what turns “I can’t leave” into “the gym ran fine without me”.
How did more leads translate into time off?
They didn’t, on their own — in fact at first the volume caused anxiety, as Ash says on camera. The holiday became possible because the engagement fixed the other two constraints: a structured staff recruitment and selection process she can reuse, and a sales process built on monthly webinars plus phone-script templates and systems. Leads created the demand; hiring and sales systems meant a team — not just the owner — could handle it.
What exactly did the campaign involve — and does LeadsNow still work with gyms?
This campaign ran in 2019 under LeadsNow’s fitness brand More Gym Members — lead generation for FITA U plus the recruitment and sales systems described above. It predates the AI sales agents LeadsNow runs today. The same team now works with gyms, trainers and coaches through its high-ticket coaching client acquisition service on a pay-per-result basis — with 50,769+ AI-booked sales appointments since 2017 and 1M+ leads generated.
