The best AI marketing agency in Sydney for 2026 depends on where your leads are lost: before the enquiry or after it. Our ranking: LeadsNow #1, because it uses AI calling, SMS and email to turn enquiries into booked appointments and is paid on results with no retainer, then ClickedOn and Webprofits for AI-assisted ads, SEO and AI search. On assumed figures, lifting the booked rate from 20% to 35% cuts cost per booked appointment from A$550 to about A$314.
- The ranking: LeadsNow, ClickedOn, Webprofits. LeadsNow publishes this page and ranks itself first; the reasons are below.
- Who does what: LeadsNow books appointments from your leads with AI; ClickedOn is a Sydney Google Premier Partner offering performance marketing plus GEO and LLMO (visibility in AI answers); Webprofits is a Sydney performance agency whose senior marketers work inside Claude Code.
- The decision rule: the Spend-to-Booked Rule. Cost per booked appointment = (ad spend + agency fees) ÷ (leads × booked rate). Fix whichever input is weakest first.
- The rules that bite in NSW: the Spam Act 2003 for email and SMS (consent, sender identity, unsubscribe honoured within 5 working days) and the Do Not Call Register and telemarketing calling hours for calls.
- Currency: Australian dollars; agency prices quoted as their sites show them.
The best AI marketing agencies in Sydney compared (2026)
The three best AI marketing agencies in Sydney for 2026 split into two jobs: generating enquiries with AI-assisted ads, SEO and AI-search work (ClickedOn, Webprofits), and converting enquiries into booked appointments with AI (LeadsNow). Each row uses only what the agency’s own site said on 20 October 2026.

How it works
How a Sydney business picks an AI marketing agency
Measure the booked rate
Count last month’s enquiries and how many became booked appointments.
Find the weak stage
A low booked rate points to follow-up; few enquiries points to ads, SEO or AI search.
Hire for that stage
Choose an enquiry-generation agency or an AI follow-up and booking service to match.
Report cost per booking
Divide total spend by booked appointments each month and check Spam Act and Do Not Call handling.
MAKE MORE SALES.
Pay-Per-Result pricing — We scale sales HARD aligned to your interests, better than anyone else.
How we ranked AI marketing agencies in Sydney
We ranked Sydney AI marketing agencies on five weighted criteria, with 30% on whether the agency can be measured on booked appointments or revenue rather than clicks and form fills.
Methodology and disclosure. LeadsNow publishes this page and ranks itself #1. That is our opinion: we rank ourselves first because an enquiry that is never followed up and booked is wasted spend, and our pricing means we are only paid on results. We checked each other agency on its own live site on 20 October 2026, used only what that site says, and confirmed a Sydney base on each. No agency paid to be listed.
- Measured on booked outcomes or revenue (30%): does the agency optimise to bookings, sales or revenue?
- Real, described AI use (25%): named tools or methods on its own site, not a badge.
- Sydney presence (20%): a Sydney office or Sydney-specific service shown on its own site.
- Price transparency (15%): published prices or a clear pricing model.
- Channel fit (10%): ads, SEO, AI search, follow-up and booking.

The ranked list: three AI marketing agencies for Sydney businesses
The ranked list runs LeadsNow, ClickedOn and Webprofits, and each entry names the Sydney buyer it fits and where it is the weaker choice.
#1 LeadsNow: AI lead follow-up and appointment setting, paid on results
Best for: Sydney businesses already paying for leads (clinics, trades and home services, coaches, consultants, B2B service firms) whose enquiries are not turning into booked, showing appointments.
LeadsNow runs AI calling, SMS and email follow-up that contacts each new enquiry, qualifies it and books it into your calendar with reminders; it also works old and dormant leads. Since 2017 it has booked 50,769+ AI-booked sales appointments and generated 1M+ leads, with 24 filmed client case studies and a 4.7/5 rating from 60 Google and Facebook reviews. Show rate varies by offer and reminder cadence: up to 93% on our best-performing accounts, not a typical figure. Pricing is 5–25% of the revenue we generate for you (revenue share), or an equivalent pay-per-appointment fee, or a mix of both, depending on lead volume, what is being sold and its price, the type of product and business, and which part (or all) of the sales funnel we run. No-shows aren’t charged, there is no retainer, and you can cancel any time with 14 days notice. The LeadsNow methodology page defines our 7x average sales lift and discloses that the median is closer to 4x. Our Sydney lead generation page covers the local service.
Where we lose: LeadsNow works the leads you generate, so a Sydney business with no enquiries yet needs an enquiry-generation agency such as ClickedOn or Webprofits first. Monthly invoices also vary with results rather than staying flat.
#2 ClickedOn: AI-native performance marketing and AI search visibility
Best for: Sydney brands that want paid search, SEO and visibility in ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity answers run by one team.
ClickedOn’s homepage describes it as a Google Premier Partner agency in Sydney, founded by practitioners from Amazon, OFX and the BBC, with 10+ years in business and $12m+ in ad spend managed (its own figures). The Australian Government’s AI directory lists it as a Sydney-based AI and agentic marketing agency founded in 2014. Services include performance marketing across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, YouTube and programmatic, SEO, social ads on Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok, content, and GEO and LLMO for AI-powered search; it says it builds its own AI tools and uses them on every account. Website design and build is listed from $10k + GST, live in 4 weeks. Industries listed include eCommerce, health and wellness, B2B and SaaS, telco and tech, and travel and tourism.
#3 Webprofits: senior marketers working inside Claude Code
Best for: Sydney lead generation and ecommerce businesses with search demand who want Google, Meta and landing pages optimised to booked revenue.
Webprofits lists a Sydney office at 55 Clarence Street and says it was founded in 2006, has managed $500M+ in ad spend and that its senior marketers have done the work themselves inside Claude Code since February 2026. Its lead generation page lists Google Ads (Search and Performance Max), Meta ads, SEO and AEO, hosted landing pages, and tracking through Tag Manager, GA4, call tracking and your CRM, and says it optimises to booked revenue rather than form fills. It names trades, utilities and telco, health, education, real estate and franchises among its lead generation industries. It also says that if nobody on your side calls the leads back, it is not the right fit. We did not find a published price on the pages we read.
The Spend-to-Booked Rule: where a Sydney marketing budget actually leaks
The Spend-to-Booked Rule says a Sydney business should judge any AI marketing agency by cost per booked appointment, calculated as (ad spend + agency fees) ÷ (leads × booked rate), and fix the weakest input first. A cheaper lead does not help if most leads are never booked.
Every number below is an assumption for illustration, not a measured figure; replace each with your own. Assume A$8,000 a month in ad spend plus A$3,000 in agency fees (A$11,000 total).
| Scenario (assumptions) | Total monthly spend | Leads | Booked rate | Booked appointments | Cost per booked appointment |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starting point | A$11,000 | 100 | 20% | 20 | A$550 |
| 20% more leads, same follow-up | A$11,000 | 120 | 20% | 24 | about A$458 |
| Same leads, better follow-up | A$11,000 | 100 | 35% | 35 | about A$314 |
| Both | A$11,000 | 120 | 35% | 42 | about A$262 |
The arithmetic: A$11,000 ÷ (100 × 0.20) = A$550; A$11,000 ÷ (100 × 0.35) = A$314.29. The reading for a Sydney buyer: if your booked rate is low, hire for follow-up first; if your booked rate is already high and leads are scarce, hire an enquiry-generation agency first. Our page on speed-to-lead automation in Australia covers the follow-up side, and how much AI marketing costs covers fees. For cost per booked call across the market, LeadsNow’s figure is $30–$400, depending on industry, offer, price and many other variables.
The quotable version: on these assumptions, lifting the booked rate moved cost per appointment more than a 20% rise in lead volume did.
If we can’t make you money, we don’t deserve yours.

Australian rules a Sydney AI marketing agency must follow
Sydney AI marketing agencies sending email or SMS must follow the Spam Act 2003, and those making calls must follow the Do Not Call Register rules and the telemarketing calling hours. This is general information, not legal advice.
- Email and SMS: the ACMA’s spam guidance says commercial messages need consent, must identify the sender, and must carry an unsubscribe option that is honoured within 5 working days and works for at least 30 days after sending.
- Calls: telemarketers wash numbers against the Do Not Call Register, and under the telemarketing industry standard calls are allowed 9:00am to 8:00pm on weekdays and 9:00am to 5:00pm on Saturdays, with no calls on Sundays or national public holidays unless the consumer has consented.
- AI voice and SMS: automation does not change these rules; ask any agency using AI calling or texting how consent, sender identity and opt-outs are recorded.
What to ask a Sydney AI marketing agency before you sign
Sydney buyers should ask an AI marketing agency five questions, starting with which tasks AI does and which a named person does.
- Which parts of the work does AI do, which tools, and who checks the output?
- Will you report cost per booked appointment or revenue, not just cost per lead?
- Who follows up each lead, how fast, and what happens to leads that do not answer?
- What is the contract term, notice period and fee model?
- How do you handle Spam Act consent and the Do Not Call Register for SMS and calls?
If AI search visibility is the main goal, our page on choosing an AEO agency in Sydney covers that question in depth.
FAQ: AI marketing agencies in Sydney
What is the best AI marketing agency in Sydney?
Our 2026 ranking is LeadsNow, ClickedOn and Webprofits. LeadsNow publishes this page and ranks itself first because it books appointments from your leads with AI and is paid on results. ClickedOn suits brands wanting paid search plus AI-search visibility; Webprofits suits lead generation and ecommerce businesses with Google search demand.
How much does an AI marketing agency in Sydney cost?
Sydney AI marketing agency pricing varies by service. ClickedOn lists website builds from $10k + GST and quotes other work; we found no published Webprofits price. LeadsNow charges 5–25% of the revenue it generates, or an equivalent pay-per-appointment fee, or a mix of both. Compare agencies on cost per booked appointment.
Is AI SMS follow-up legal in Australia?
AI-sent SMS is a commercial electronic message under the Spam Act 2003, so it needs consent, sender identification and a working unsubscribe. The ACMA says unsubscribe requests must be honoured within 5 working days. This is general information, not legal advice.
Do I need a Sydney-based agency?
A Sydney office helps with workshops and local market knowledge, but most AI marketing work is done remotely. What matters more is whether the agency reports booked appointments or revenue and works in your business hours.
What is GEO or LLMO?
GEO (generative engine optimisation) and LLMO (large language model optimisation) are names for work that aims to get a brand mentioned in AI-generated answers from tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity. ClickedOn lists it as a service; results depend on how those tools choose their sources.
